This modular house even has a upstairs loft, with endless possibilities! The manufacturer for this modular house is Pennwest Homes. The model for this home is the "Pinewood Chalet." This, in my opinion, is an amazing home! I would make it my main residence, no lodge or lake home, just my permanent residence. Then I could imagine being on vacation all year around! Only thing I can see that is missing is the bench in the main shower. Cullen is adorable! Love seeing this cowboy!🥰

My dad had a buddy who bought a property in Logan, Utah 10 years ago and put a nice modular home on it, when that wasn't really a well-known home type (they were both in the manufactured homes industry) at the time. He spent roughly $350K on the land, landscaping, and home build...and it appraised, shortly after, for nearly $4M.

@@baconoverlord7982 Sorry, I'll admit to a typo. It appraised for $1.4M and it wasn't a "cheap" modular home. The materials were extremely good for modular, and designed for harsh environments like upper North Dakota.

I really like this house. The deer antler fixture has to go and a ceiling fan there would be nice. I absolutely love the fact that it has a wood-burning fireplace and the loft is just so awesome along with the rest of the space to be finished.

I love all of the wood and being able to see wood grain instead of paint. It is a beautiful home, and I could see this as a chalet on a ski slope. And Cullen is usual is just as cute as a button

Opens door at 2:23. Love that the kitchen is so low on wasted space. Everything is close together and efficient. Need a bench in the shower and a good tub in the bathroom. As always, any video with Cullen is a winner. That child is just the cutest ever! Yeah, sharing is hard for kids that age - you'll get him there.

Absolutely beautiful home! You've finally done it. You've found my dream house!!! 🥰 I love the soaring wood ceilings, the spacious open layout, the beautiful finishes, the lovely but unpretentious master suite, and the bonus loft. I think I'd push that wall in the loft back a little and use the rear for storage and the front for office. And of course it needs to be overlooking a lake or river or bay! My only question is where do you put a TV? You guys look great in your cowboy hats. Cullen is adorable! Btw, you should put "Everybody needs a shub" on a tshirt! 😁

@@scientchahming5 I live on the Chesapeake Bay now with beautiful views that i greatly appreciate. I walk the shoreline every day taking in the waves and the wildlife. It's my way of relaxing and I couldn't imagine not living by nature. But at night, I still like to watch a movie or show. So, unless you're building this exclusively as a weekend retreat, you're still going to want a TV to gather around in the evening and especially in the winter when it's too cold to be outside.

Hey Chance! Really like this one! I'd like to see a site-built home on Saturday night. And, yes, the turntable in the corner cabinet is called a Lazy Susan. My faves in this home: the glass in the front door, all of the wood, stone backsplash, the kitchen is not within view of the front door, the hallway bathroom sink, the master bedroom closet is NOT in the bathroom (!) and the tile shower. Have no need for a shub (too hard to clean). I think I would use the upstairs as a second master with its own bathroom. Or, if the home is used as a vacation home, then some people may want a home office for those who can't completely get away from work for a family vacation. I will say that vacation homes have come a long way over the years with some of the same upgrades as you have in your main home. Many of my cousins have had vacation homes over the years. They called them summer cabins and they were a definite downgrade from their main home but perfect for their intended purpose. Just basic cabins without any upgrades. On the flip side, I have one cousin whose beach house is bigger and nicer than his main house.

Beautiful home! It has the best kitchen layout of all of the homes I've looked at recently! I like the great room and fireplace. The deer antler light fixture is intriguing but I would probably not have it since it would be a dust catcher. Oh, the narrow cabinet in the kitchen--that's for your cookie sheets and racks that fold flat. Really thoughtful!

This is a beautiful home with the exception of the 2 story living/dining room. I would rather see the upstairs go all the way across the home. Living in a colder climate and the way heat rises that would create huge heating costs in the winter. Cullen is sooooo cute and well mannered on film. You really should show more of him as well.

I just got a notification about this home. Idk. I am soo glad I clicked on it. This home is absolutely gorgeous. That ceiling though!!! I would definitely do a pantry under the stairs and the upstairs I would make into the master suite, and use the original master suite as a junior suite. Also I would do wood shelving instead of wire. Other than that this home is amazing!!!

I like the wood on the vaulted ceiling, but would opt for a fancy ceiling fan to help push the heat loss back down to the living area. The fireplace is awesome! Cullen might feel differently about sharing his toys with Mr Elf once he has a brother and or sister… just sayin’. 😉

My sister got a fancy ceiling fan at Lowe's. It's nice, looks great. It's brown bronze, with plastic crystal looking, gems surrounding the light, wich is enclosed. Problem is, she lives in a old trailer, with low ceilings, and you constantly have to watch yourself so you don't get your head cut on the fan blades. It is above her kitchen sink. Small kitchen and no other place to put a ceiling fan. No dining room.

They hug the ceiling and are about a foot in diameter. Amazon sells them. They would work nicely in the space you described.

I love the wood interior, but I would prefer a ceiling fan instead of just a light fixture to help with the air circulation. I realize the one door gives an option of either a stairway to a basement or a closet or pantry, but as a pantry it is pitiful. In my opinion the good use of the space upstairs would be another bedroom along with a bath.

I was thinking of a fan as well, with the way heat rises. But it could have lights on it. :) The only thing I see missing in this home is a coat closet. I guess you'd have to put up hooks. Otherwise, this is such a sweet home!

I concur...it would not be that energy efficient. I have vaulted ceilings in my condo and I run my ceiling fans pretty much 24/7 or my heat or A/C will kick on too many times. The windows are nice but would be a pain to clean.

There's three main environments this house would work well in Mountains - The classic ski chalet Lake - imagine overlooking a super fun body of water! Beach - just put it on stilts and you're good to go in your tropical eutopia!

Very impressive! One question though, as this is a modular home, how many module sections would there be to deliver this down the highway? Or maybe only the major floor and wall sections were produced at the factory and then the rest of it (like the roof) was built on site.
