I live in Canada and was in Chandigarh for a week in January 2023. I love Chandigarh Mohali a lot, so much that I can move here permanently but here is my issue. Pollution!!! The AQI is above 200 constantly. You can feel smoke entering your lungs and choking you. I got bad taste of smoke in my mouth it was so bad. How are people living here ???? No one seems to have issue with the most important thing, breathing.

lived in Chandigarh, it's a fools paradise. Nothing excites you in the city. No good malls, no concrete footpaths, no diverse culture, no nightlife, no flyovers, no industries to work. In fact the industrial area is mostly vacant. Please are so selfish and big show off. The city is simply a road and a roundabout.. then a road and roundabout.. that's it.. In fact Noida is miles ahead of Chandigarh. I mean at least make your footpath concrete. And people are such fools that they are taught it's the best city to live.. And they keep repeating it. It's not planned it a flop city. It's 17 sector market and 22nd sector market which are again boring usual market, but Chandigarh people think it's world class. As if it's cyber hub like Gurgaon. Gosh I lived there for 4 years and never went back again. It's a nightmare.
