Chandigarh to Jispa Part 2 I Jeeping to Leh I Ep 4 I New tunnels I Road condition I Mandi I Manali

Today, we are traveling from Chandigarh to Jispa, a nearly 340 kms drive that takes somewhere between 10-12 hrs. We started before sunrise to avoid the early morning traffic.
This is Part 2 of the journey - from Himachal entry till Mandi.

At what time you started from manali and when did you reach jispa? Im trying to calculate the total travel time b/w chd and jispa

Hi, we actually did Chandigarh to Jispa and then Jispa to Leh. Chandigarh to Jispa drive time was around 9.5 hrs but total travel time (drive plus all stops) was around 12.5 hrs. Jispa to Leh total travel time was around 15 hrs. But we had lost 2.5hrs at Darcha because we got stuck in a standstill traffic due to army movement. You can cover Jispa to Leh in around 12-13 hrs. Manali to Jispa is around 50-60 kms. So add another 2.5 hrs to it. Actual driving time between Chandigarh and Leh (665 km) had been 21hrs for us.
