Would love to add on, (As per my experience) - you are not allowed to use lifts unless ur an international student, even if there is an emergency, i had a twisted ankle and my class was on 9th floor. - they make timetables in a way even if u have 3 classes in a day u wont be able to leave soon coz one period will be at the last with 3-4 hrs free time in between -if you want to go to south campus from the main for an important work, you have to walk ( you wont be allowed to use e-rikshaws unless ur an international student) - The VC goes crazy if he sees a guy and a girl walking together, (he literally pulled off an i-card from a girls neck sayimg " tera baap lagta hai kya yeh?'' -you will be blackmailed to cut your attendance for the entire day if you didn't show up in the auditorium for a guest lecture. -You are not allowed to meet a guy even for a minute outside the girl's hostel. and the food is SHITTTTT. - If you want nightouts even if you want to go home, the wardens deny sometimes and if you make them talk to ur mother she screams at her too. there are moree, but i would say if you are planning to do a degree like MBA please DON'TTTT, coz academics are shit, you can choose if you wanna just do simple grad and have fun. but for a serious degree! look for other options.

I am not joking, but I literally decided to take a drop rather than continuing in this university after spending 1 month here. Honestly if you are serious about your career, don't even think about taking admission here. Following are reasons 1) Teachers are bad, really bad and finding a good teacher here is like a treasure hunt 2) Crowd is soo bad that you don't even feel an inch of competition here 3) Your main matter of concern will be attendance and assignment rather than skills Please it's my humble request don't come here, don't make my mistake, I am feeling so grateful that I left this place....

Bro, I would say to make a follow up video on this. reviews mixed hai however nothing clear. Kisi ko khaane se dikkat hai kisi ko nahi, some found environment right while others didnt. like literally, make a good and bad pointer video with real examples, and agar 50-50 feedback aa raha hai bacho se, so mention that accoringly. Long term video k liye benenficial hai as people will continue to join CU

I will be passing out this JUNE(B.E CSE) got placed in a company and they blocked me from placement cell which eventually means I cannot apply to any other companies who offer better packages, coming from a middle class background I wanted to make it big, and I worked hard for it as well but this college never fails to put hurdle in your preparation. @@vijayrautela1617 if tum 1st year se ho to congrats bohot time hai tumhaare paas , but bohot companies aise hai jo sirf BCA waale students ko hire nahi karte , so I would suggest ki DSA pehle 6-7 months mein bohot strong karlo and baaki ke 6 months mein full stack development seekho and make few good projects and then you can apply to startups as they pay really well, and they hardly care about your degree bas development skills chahiye unhe .

I have done my bachelor's in this university (2017-21). This university was much better before naacA+ grade was given to them. After that it's totally different, becoming wosrt day by day. Like every college or university in punjab is conducting classes offline now but they have taken so much admission because of their greediness of money that they don't have space now to conduct offline classes dur to which many students suffer and online classes are judt waste of money and time....

I've studied Mechanical Engineering from Chandigarh University and believe me more than half of the staff of Mechanical isn't even aware of basic Physics concepts. All they do is copy paste what is written in books to whiteboard. They steal the patent projects of students and register it on University name and the mentors they provide for projects doesn't help at all. Also flattery is deeply appreciated here. Also the security guards and the staff themselves don't have the manners to speak to students and even their parents. All they care about is business here. Also placements are shitty. They'll forcefully make you sit even for companies you don't want to sit for and they'll force you to accept offer letters. I also was asked to give speech with other places students during interaction with juniors but I declined for which I was detained from sitting for further companies.

@@VasuDev-ls5kz Not at all bro atleast according to me. Most of the professors don't even know basic physics only so expecting them to know mechanical concepts will be way too much. Also mechanical placements aren't even good. They make you sit in marketing and CS companies and will themselves decide if you can sit in further placements or not.

Nowdays avoid paying high fees to private institutions, get admitted to a descent college with less fees , and focus on self learning and skill building, trust me I have attended like more than 20-30 interviews as fresher and experienced not a single company asked about percentage or university name. I don't think anything bad about any of the college's. It totally depends on 2 factors. If your course is academic, then check whether the cllg is good in research or not. And if technical then check whether companies are visiting campus placing students or not. If these 2 things are right then it totally depends on you how much input you give. Mostly students (not all) which avoid studying and are lazy come to private college and then they don't study and judge the cllg. Work hard and hustle hard.

Iam still studying in cu and i must say hostel facility is so bad mainly water and food, we have tested in our biotechnology lab and we found ecoli bacteria is present in water and it smells like heal after 2 hrs, and we are suffering from food poisoning almost daily , Food is also so bad , as they don't know how to cook, And another most important thing is our classes are on 9th floor, they don't allow us to use lift after we are sick , i don't understand for what reason they take this much of money, bcz they don't provide us any type of facility, even there wifi also doesn't work good and voltage problem in hostel
