'The Maidens' twist at the end felt so unearned. I spent hours trying to solve this and then BAM! Don't bother trying cos you're never gonna solve it! Ughh. Silent Patient was much more satisfying.

The only thing that stuck with me about Leave the World Behind was the chapter long grocery list 🤣 I unironically loved that because I’m a ho for food in books. The rest of the book was just a grab bag of what-the-fuckery with a super unsatisfying ending.
