No... The more you buy animals products, the more it's demand becomes... Therefore more will the supply...its Basic economics... So if u eat more animals products, more animals will be tortured by farming and more will the contribution to global warming... The best way to avoid this is -"when the buying stops, the killing does too"

As you said you will need protein based on your weight and you will be fine with vegan or non veg diets. But you didn’t mention how this can be achieved with a vegan diet. Instead of answering this very valid question for normal person on how to do it without massive supplement intake, you spend most of the video on crappy music and troll like narrative. It did not suit this myth busting narrative that you were pushing. Nalla bore aayirunnu. Protein supplements can help obviously, but recent peer reviewed papers on protein powders without doubt proved that almost 100% brands available here were adulterated or with dangerous levels of heavy metals. Veganism without the protein deficiency is only attainable for the truly elite. This and the CR video is coming from truly different perspectives. With added pucham here.

Please stop bsing and making baseless claims. Even if you're a braindead CR fanboy, don't justify him for the misinformation he spreads like this, its embarrassing, lol. We have a video where we went over hitting adequate protein on a vegan diet without protein supplementation youtu. be/ZYGfyMRWf-I?si=zueR0SAcK9SRO1kK. There're many iterations of a vegan diet that can hit adequate protein target without protein supplementation, with a low budget. Spew your misinformation elsewhere man.. And we know CR's perspective already, it is that of a WhatsApp amavan who doesn't read research and instead relies on random stuff on the Internet. Yeah amazing perspective indeed lmao..

Hey bro will be replying in english for ease of typing, but if you need a reply in malayalam feel free to let us know in reply. So what we meant is plant based foods, containing protein. Also when we say plant based sources of protein it doesn't have to be from vegetables as that's not the only option on a plant based diet. It could be TVP, tofu, tempeh, meat substitutes (fake meat), legumes, nuts, seeds etc. We don't think it is not the case that plant based protein supplements cost more. It depends on a no. of things like location, brand etc. There're ones cheaper than regular whey-based protein supplements in the Indian market. Now if you're concerned plants not having all proteins: dont worry, that's a myth, as that's not the case. Alll plants contain all 20 amino acids. (Refer PMID: 30726996) Plants contain amino acids in varying quantities, so as long as you're eating a variety of plant foods, hitting enough amino acids daily (like leucine, important for Muscle Protein Synthesis(MPS)) isn't a problem. Also the studies we cited show athletes are able to hit total protein needs on a plant based diet,. refer our video on Abby Philips for sample diet plan. kzbin.info/www/bejne/kIqql6yDh7yZY6ssi=zueR0SAcK9SRO1kK Besides if you're able to plan appropriately, vegan diets can be very cheap. Like for example TVP/soya chunks are an excellent source of protein, very cheap as well. You could try different recipes with it. There're very few vegans in the population first of all, so obviously there'll be less vegans participating in Olympics for that reason. Now there're still a couple of vegans who have won medals in this Olympics, we showed a few of them in the video too. Rest of your concerns feel like personal feelings, so not bothering to address it, but lastly, there's a strong ethical reason for going vegan. And many people go plant based for environmental as well as health reasons too. We hope to cover these in the upcoming videos, so stay tuned..

@@scientethics9774 I'm NOT saying you cannot get your required amount of protein from plant products. But the question is its viability, cost, effort and access. TVP, tofu, tempeh, meat substitutes (fake meat) - what is the chance that a common Indian person has heard about these, let alone having access to it. And what is the cost of 100gm of these compared to 100gm of animal protein (say, chicken). And these are not direct-plant products. They are processed to remove the fiber and carbs. And I'm not even comparing these to whey protein. I'm talking about easily accessible animal products like egg, milk, meat etc. And even after all that effort and cost, what is the amount of protein in them. For example, 100gm of tofu has got 9gm of protein, while simple 100gm of chicken got 24gms of protein. What about taste? Dry Tofu tastes like cardboard. And I'm really interested to know about that brand of plant based protein that is cheaper than animal based protein. Maybe it is a local brand and you are comparing it to some imported protein powder. Anyway, I can guarantee that I can find something animal-based that is cheaper than that brand of plant based protein. And lastly, the moral concern about animal based protein is somewhat justifiable. But usually in the Indian scenario veganism is not about love of animal, it is usually their $ky-daddy belief that they are going to get some brownie points if they do not eat meat. That is evident if you see the number of cows that is left to roam around after they are done with their productive life. They don't love these animals. They just want to please the $ky-daddy. I eat meat and when I die I'm perfectly fine with other critters and worms feast on my body, just like I've used them for my survival. And that is exactly what is happen to you as well, whether you like it or not. Even if you burn it, it is just going to get broken down into its components which, in turn, gets eaten by plants.

I'm NOT saying that you cannot get your required amount of protein from plant-based product. The question is its viability, cost and access. TVP, tofu, tempeh, meat substitutes - Do you think a regular Indian household has heard about these, let alone having access. And all these go through many levels of processing to remove the fiber and carbs, squeezing out the little protein in them. And don't get me started on whole foods like legumes and seeds with their high fiber content, which you've to consume an insane amount to get any meaningful amount of protein. കക്കൂസിൽ നിന്ന് ഇറങ്ങാൻ നേരം കാണില്ല. Compare it to having an egg which can be prepared in 5 minutes. I'm not even comparing it to processed whey protein, but rather, readily available protein sources without any processing. And what is the amount of protein in these plant based products like soy chunks, tofu, tempeh? 100gm of tofu has 9gm of protein, while 100gm of chicken has got 24gm. Then there is the taste. Dry tofu tastes like cardboard and people usually cook it further, adding more carbs and fat to it in the process. And I'm really interested to know about that brand of plant based protein that is cheaper than animal based protein. Maybe you are comparing a local brand to some imported protein powder. Anyway, I can guarantee that I can find cheaper animal based protein. How much time you had to spend to find 2 vegan athletes? I bet it is more than separating out protein from plants. And lastly, the ethical reason of not eating animal products is somewhat justifiable. But not in the case of Indians. They do not love animals, and they are just avoiding animal products because of their baseless belief system assuming that their god is going to be pleased and they get some brownie points in the afterlife. That is evident in the number of cows left to roam around and suffer on Indian roads, after they are done with their productive life. I'm fine with my body being devoured by critters and worms after my death, just like I've used them for my survival. And that is exactly what is going to happen to you, whether you like it or not.
