power failure ? I mean, until 2 km from the surface it seemed to work just well and then a sudden cutoff? (if no signal at all can be received, even not a minor one or because misaligned / bent antenna) But obviously that thing either went entirely dead or magically works but only without a possibility for scientists to listen or intervene. (maybe transmitter failure, then everything would have worked until touchdown maybe, but I assume the lander and payload deployment will be depending on commands coming from earth).

the place that isro's lander gone has not been explored by anyone. Maybe there is something in south pole of moon. Isro is still searching what happened in that place.This is not a failure if the lander goes to the place where all put, the mission will be successful.
