You can read the article "Asia's space race" published in 2011 in the journal "Nature", where the advantages of a join Asian space mission is examined and well explained. It sounds like a great idea for Asia to have her own space mission by cooperation between China, Korea, Japan and India. But it has been 12 years since this article and we see no progress in that cooperation.

I don't think luna 25 was rushed as u mentioned it was planned well ahead of chandrayan 3 and it faced many issues due to sanctions and got delayed russia did it's best irrespective of the huge setbacks I am sure they will also learn from their mistakes like us and will launch a successful mission soon.

The followings are the issues with moon landings. If the lander has stabilized to stay upright before dropping straight down, then the issue is if the exact landing zone right below is flat enough without boulder and if the altimeter is giving correct data to tell when to shut down the engine at the right moment. Then no issue. In the case, the lander has horizontal velocity with the lander upright, then the altimeter will give very fluctuation values as it goes over hills, valleys and boulders. As such, the altimeter data will be very confusing and that is an issue regarding when to shut off the engine. The horizontal velocity could bring it over a valley, hill or boulder. This is an issue. Also, horizontal velocity could make the lander hit a boulder or a wall and can tip the lander. In that case, if the lander is not able to stand upright on its own, then it is a serious issue. The rover may or may not come out of its belly. If these things have been addressed, then it will be successful, otherwise it might be a waste for not considering these issues. Let us see and keep our fingers crossed.

You forgot to mention that Luna 25 attempted to land in the most difficult part of the Moon, no one has managed to land there thus far. And the loss of this lander is not out of the ordinary. Landing on the South Pole proves to be very difficult, it's the most likely place for major scientific discoveries, hence why everyone attempts landing there. So far, without success.
