I will clear the confusion up for everyone. She was being abused by her family whether that was mentally or physical we don’t know. She cut ties with her family. They then reported her missing which she has told cops the family always get cops involved. Her husband said she was fine he told them where she was in Texas cops then obviously went there and confirmed in person she was ok and then relayed that information back to LAPD hence them closing the case. And that's not even right anymore, because there's a brand new video of that overweight cousin saying she's fine. Anyway, LAPD sent the TXPD to do a physical "eyes-on" welfare check. And of course the familiy's not talking... they're saying fam got thousands of dollars Gofundme and knew she was safe the whole time, so they're likely headed for *big* trouble. The city of LA is going to go after them, just like Shasta County went for Papini, because they spent thousands of dollars looking for this girl. I can not imagine the pain the family is going through. My heart goes out to her family and friends in the search. Keep fighting to seek answers and actual proof of life. Don't take this social media reply as proof because it can be easily be faked by anyone pretending to be her. I'll share a horrible situation that happened to my family friend not that long ago. My family friend's son pretended to be his mom online. The police and FBI got involved once people in my community reached out to them about the suspicious lack of answering messages in her normal communication style, not answering phone calls and family and friends not seeing her in person. Because of their determination the police and FBI found out that our concerns were right. Her son killed her and did other unthinkable things to cover up the crime. Her son is now in prison for several years for her murder. They still haven't found her remains in the river. The sick part is that I talked with her son in person and he pretended that his mom was doing well. I got weird vibes from him when he answered my questions about how she was doing. Later to find out the truth hit me so hard. Nothing will ever bring her back. However, if my friends and others hadn't put pressure on the police and FBI to keep searching for her then her son would have been free and long gone to possibly do this to someone else. I really hope Chanel is alive and well. I understand that people sometimes want to distance themselves from family and friends for many reasons. However, if she really is alive and unharmed then show actual proof and not a message online which can be faked. I hope this situation is resolved soon.
