I like how you put practical things when testing the sizes. I sometimes see people throwing in 10 lipsticks to see the fit and I'm like "no, but who cares if it fits 10 lipsticks". Some people don't even put in their phone... Sure they might not put their phone in the bags, but it's a common thing that most people would want to see when clicking on this type of videos.

Ajoh Wong yes! I ended up getting the rectangular mini in lambskin! When I went, it was the last they had in stock! So that’s another thing some people don’t mention is you might just be limited to the stock they have. For me, I had a few in mind that I wouldn’t mind getting as my “first” Chanel bag since I knew the inventory is pretty hit or miss.

Great video- there’s nothing like a beautiful Chanel 🖤! The square mini used to be part of Chanel’s classic line (I have a vintage square) before it became a seasonal bag. The rectangular mini is a much more recent style and also seasonal. 😘

There is a reissue 226 that is 11 x 7 which is one inch shorter and one inch less wide than the jumbo. It is less boxy and the chain is perfect as it is not nearly as long as the jumbo. I am 5’4 and it is perfect for shoulder and cross body. The chain is beautiful. It is still a classic double flap with Burgandy interior but it has the mademosil lock and not the CC.

i’ve seen that one! but i’ve only seen it in distressed leather and the gunmetal chain and i don’t think it’s really my style right now :(

Chanel need to rethink their Classic and Reissue sizes. The perfect bag size and chain is actually the Reissue 226 (Medium). It is bigger than the Classic Medium and the chain is longer, so it can be worn crossbody if necessary. It is also very lightweight! So Chanel should make the Classic bag in this same size, then a Jumbo, and discard the Medium and outdated Maxi!!!

sorry i missed this comment! it’s definitely a tough decision because i feel like they are two completely different looks, worn with completely different outfits... but i probably get more wear from my m/l’s than my jumbo. hope that helps! :)

When you purchased your Chanel in Paris, did you find that it was worth it to do so instead of buying in Canada? (Including the currency conversion, VAT refund, Canadian customs and taxes) And how much did you end up having to pay in customs/taxes when you got back in Canada?

thanks! my sweater is from forever21 :) personally, i have never been a boy bag type.. i was just never drawn to it. i wasn't into the chunky hardware, and i find the bag to look very thick. however, i have seen a few in the small size that i liked recently!
