After yearsss Estee lauder full coverage i bought Chanel no1 ! It's perfection. Instead off hide my skin now you can see my skin but much beter. Even my husband said it and that was eyeopener , really love it!! Thxs :)

I used my Chanel Les Beiges with Sublimage L’essence De Teint my skin looked flawless ☺️ you were right Sublimage on its own doesn’t look good.

Thank you so much for this useful comparison! I have the No 1 and have been on the fence about the Complexion Tint. I do, however, use the Chanel CC cream a lot now as I find that to be more long lasting and better coverage than the No 1. Would be very interesting to see a comparison between the iconic Chanel CC cream and No 1/Complexion Tint! I have been so pleasantly surprised by the CC cream, as I normally go for more coverage, such as the Ultra Tenue, but this CC cream is holding up much better than the No 1, which seems to not last on my skin (dry, slightly flaky skin). Thanks again for your professional advice!

I like both . I like complexion I can go a shade darker for summer. And I use to like I have a tan . I will have to try the CC cream but never rely on spf in foundation because you don’t apply enough coverage

I think both foundations look amazing on you....if I had to choose one out of the two it would be the Chanel #1. I've seen several tutorials on that one and I must say that it is the bomb! This past summer when we were in Florida I went to Dillard's at Coconut Point and headed for the Chanel counter thinking that I could purchase the new Chanel #1 but I wasn't able to for the reason that because it was brand new I could only order it on the Chanel sight. When we return to Florida I will return to the Chanel counter in hopes that they will have the foundation available.

When it first came out, I heard that it would only be sold at Ulta online and a very limited number of stores. Also on Chanel's website.

This is so helpful! i went to Ulta and the “expert” wasn’t in and no tester of the No 1 and at $75 I wanted some education on it. imo the No 1 looks a tad better. ❤

I have the Sublimage le Teint, but now it’s too light to me. I’m going to check out the No. 1 foundation in a darker color for summer. Never tried it. My skin is dry, and I live in south Fla, lol.

What is a good Chanel foundation for oily skin? I use the Velvet foundation but it’s been discontinued and I’m running out, it’s time to find a replacement. I’ve been wanting to get a luxury foundation, I have mature skin, I’m 49, but it seems like in every review of every luxury foundation the common theme is “if you have oily you probably won’t like this foundation”. Please help!

Thank you for these recommendations Cheri! I have a sample of the Dior forever matte and I love it! Dior and Chanel also seem to have the beat color matches for a cool light medium skin tone as well.
