I think I may have found my new unicorn bag!!
Well, it’s the Chanel Wallet on Chain (WOC), so it's technically a small leather good (SLG) but I, along with many others in the lux community, classify it has a handbag due to its generous capacity and the chain it has which allows you to wear it as a crossbody/shoulder bag.
This beautiful WOC is from the Chanel 20B collection, and before I decided on getting this item, I was considering purchasing the Chanel Mini Rectangular in the Ivory Iridescent colour. However, I'm glad I got this instead! I love the dainty chain detail on the WOC, how feminine and compact it is, how I can easily loop the chains and make it into a short shoulder bag, and also the beautiful baby pink interior lining! I think it goes so well with the mother of pearl look of the gorgeous ivory iridescent colour.
I purchased this super gorgeous and super rare piece from an Instagram consignor - Mademlux ( / mademlux . Mademlux is based in Melbourne, Australia and sources her pieces globally. She has a beautiful selection of Louis Vuitton (rare pieces) as well as gorgeous Chanel pieces. Her prices are also super competitive and by far the cheapest I’ve seen on the resale market. Thank you for watching and for your support 🥰 I haven’t had any issues with colour transfer yet. I am mindful when wearing this bag and mainly wear it with lighter clothing or summer dresses. Although I have worn it a couple of times with denim jeans for a short period of time, and haven’t had an issue ☺️

She is truly a stunner! 🤩 it may be hard to find this colour because it’s seasonal and Chanel never repeat colours but you could always look on the preloved market or go for a different colour or a classic black woc! Definitely start saving those pennies because it’s not cheap and Chanel are notoriously known for price increases 😩 good luck! ❤️

How do you really know this is authentic?

Hi there! It came with the authenticity card and receipt - the serial numbers on both matched the serial number in the bag. It was also a seasonal piece that was just launched in boutiques so it would be really hard to manufacture a replica in such a short timeframe (that’s just my opinion). I’ve also done heaps of research on the bag and different bags in the same collection and they all look the same ☺️

@@helloxluxury the magnetic closures are the new models. They do not come with authenticity cards anymore. They now come with metal plates inside. As well as the replicas. Most replicas are made to look identical/mirror or very similar to the original. If you are not verifying the authenticity with the actual store, or using their database, then your just hoping that you did not pay thousands for a replica, which costs a few hundred, that look similar. Also, Replicas are made immediately after the original. They don't wait weeks or months. In my opinion, reps could possibly be made by the same factories, this is how well they are made.
