Kestrels Call Madame Pouzieux's just to make the braid ( trim) for the chanel jackets and other twid elements. She Die but was a misteri if she got to teach somebody.

I really love all this from an art and construction point of view, but feathers are such a dumb embellishment as well as often ethically highly dubious. You cannot sit in a feathered skirt, lean back against a chair or really do anything in these garments, which is fucking ridiculous. They lose their sheen and integrity so quickly. What is the point of putting all this effort and expense into such a fragile, ephemeral item?
