Thanks Miss Apples! I got excited too about having a gold hardware as well. Was informed that the patent leather mini flap comes every 2-3 years. Last issue was 2016 with silver hw and this year came back only with gold hw in quilted design. I'm so loving it.

My Pursepective, It's a hard decision between that black on black chevron mini and the quilted patent leather mini flap. But when I learned that the chevron is an aged crumpled leather, I chose the smooth leather gold hw quilted one. It is only Saks 5th exclusive. When I called Saks, the person who reserved it chose the bigger size and it became available. Just got lucky to get it instantly. Good luck!

Lingling Wong, thanks! Yes, it's the spring/summer 2018 Act 2 Collection. Strap drop length is the same which is 22.5 inches. A little longer than the square mini flap.

I thinks it's cool and edgy but the patent leather, I didn't like much because it's prone to handprints and still preferred the shiny gold hardware. 😊
