This is VIRGINIE VIARD’s second haute couture collection for Chanel. She took inspiration in Aubazine, the convent where Gabrielle Chanel got an education after her mother died.
G Dragon 권지용 is in the house! Along with to congratulate Virginie Viard.
Exclusive and exceptional, Chanel’s head seamstresses explain the secrets of the super intricate clothes designed by Virginie Viard.
Gigi Hadid, Kaia Gerber, Adut Akech and Rebecca Leigh all illuminate the Chanel Grand Palais.
As a bonus, an hypnotising moment: the slow motion of the collection! 15 minutes of visual ecstasy, that you will aven more enjoy after the explanations of the premières d’atelier.

Everyone who thinks that Virginie is "not good enough" to lead Chanel should see this video. It's Chanel in it's purest form and Virginie has brought a subject of Chanel's youth, that has seemingly nothing in common with Haute Couture, to an extraordinarily suiting place. this is my favorite modern Chanel collection, by far. I feel that this collection will inspire much of my work to come-in so many ways! I have added your film to my archive, Loïc. thank you all so much for your content and hard work!! I have never been able to connect or identify with the Chanel woman, until now. Virginie and the team did masterful work here: the vision was very well-executed, and it was genuine. although it is Haute Couture, it did not feel completely unattainable, nor over-the-top simply for the sake of being over-the-top. this collection is luxurious in the best way: it is detailed and focused and thoughtful. it is not outlandish, extravagant, nor obnoxiously screaming for attention. this collection almost says “The focus is on me. On my beauty and my person. Flow. The FLOW that was created by Virginie in those garments was like that of water....I felt like I was watching a Zen video at the end, watching designs and fabrics and movement that appeared as water like I have never seen, your voice and french accent flowing along as well! And I am SO EVER IMPRESSED as I did not think anyone could ever resume what Coco and then Karl created.....Wow, I was not watching for that! As one said in the Video, the transition was "seamless". My eyes filled with tears the moment you said to "relax", because as an ER Nurse at a busy Trauma Center, We have all had no NO time to relax, being on call for who knows what will happen next. As I spent 6 Hours nonstop today in the full PAPR gear from head to toe with no ability to drink or pee, I came home today to watch this beautiful seamlessly made video of my favorite Haute Couture, Chanel. Bonsoir Mr .Prigent merci pour 49 minutes de bonheur c'est ce que j'aime les coulisses comment sont faites ces œuvres d'art les détails ça parait tellement fluide léger alors que c'est un travail minutieux presque chirurgical j'ai vu un documentaire sur les trésors de la Haute -Couture française les ateliers Lesage et son point vermicelle carré le travail fait sur la cape phébus de Mme Elsa Schiaparelli, l'atelier Vermont. justement Mr. Karl Lagerfeld a rendu hommage a ses premières d'atelier il y a quelques années, j'ai trouvé ça d'une classe folle d'une élégance c'est vrai sans ses petites mains aux doigts d'or la magie n'opèrerait pas et vous en faites partie grâce à votre travail merveilleux vous arrivez à nous transmettre cette magie merciiiiii. Un grand graaaannnnnd check , les circonstances l'obligent, d'une grande fan d'Alger
