Hardware is in gold most likely Champagne gold. There are rumors of mini rectangular but none shown up yet. Honestly the effect of this Iridescent Ivory is so subtle that in my opinion I prefer a bigger size to fully showcase it thus my decision to go for Medium at nearly double the price of mini 😔

Hi It’s basically need to be babied with caution on what your clothes are when use it. I tend to avoid hot climates when using delicate bags and absolutely no denim jeans. I think you still need to enjoy the bags though. Personally I bought this bag for special events or celebrations like weddings, dinner functions. So I don’t plan to use it daily.

Which Chanel bag has the toughest leather? My wife has many LV and Hermes bags, although I have not bought her a Chanel, yet. The shiny leather looks good, but maybe too soft?

Toughest would be Caviar leather and if you want to get the classic flap ones in Caviar will be small/medium/jumbo. This one's leather is lambskin but has an overlay coating so it's not too soft.

Yes it feels sturdier structure wise but being Lambskin iridescent coated, it’ll probably be prone to peeling though

I believe the pearl lines are mostly in caviar leather. This is in Lambskin and personally I feel the Lambskin iridescent effects are sharper but more maintenance needed.
