I did a similar video with my Chanel jumbo and my saint laurent Lou Lou in the medium and agree with you. If you love love love the cc on the front of Chanel I get it but honestly the price difference and the amazing quality of the saint laurent makes it an amazing option.

Yes it costs more than a mortgage, but everyone has their own preferences of what they choose to spend their money on. She might not have to pay for her mortgage and she can afford it. Stella! I saw some reviews that the bag starts having wrinkles where it gets pushed or touched the most, maybe bc it's a squishy puffy leather? Especially near the snap closure where the logo is. Love the chain strap swap you did! Which color of the Coach strap did you get to go with the black ysl bag? The color black copper and gunmetal is so similar on their website so I can't tell the difference 😅

The LouLou is gorgeous 💕. I purchased online via net-a-porter but returned because … I have mini Chanel bags in my collection - the So Black Le Boy, a mini Reissue (244), and a Chanel rectangular, therefore I returned the LouLou because I didn’t want to have bags “left on the shelf”. I paid a pretty penny for my Chanel bags so I want to use them. Also Chanel is in a different league to YSL 🤷🏽‍♀️

Hello! I have the black on black and it does have some chipping where the straps connect. I am very gentle with my bags and it came to me with slight corner rub. After one time of use the corner rub got worse so I haven’t worn it since. I’m just about ready to sell it back to fashionphile. Although beautiful be careful the corners and chipping hardware. I will seek out a Chanel mini now haha

I love my clothing and accessories as black as my soul, but I think I'm feeling that Chanel bag more. I prefer the closer quilting on the Chanel. Oddly enough, the YSL logo really bothers my in that black. Maybe they should have made it stand out more. It looks sunken in. I can't word it quite well enough. Love the black hardware though. Tippytoe I use the safe, but occasionally a hotel won’t have a safe. I put the do not disturb sign on the door and lock up my valuables in my luggage.

Sandra R Sometimes the safe is too small for a bag but I also put the Do Not Disturb sign also. Last time I let the hotel clean my room in Italy things were missing that I didn’t realize until o got back home. Luckily it was just some macaroons and souvenir T-shirt. I was in shock because why would the staff even want those stuff. I normally don’t bring more than one bag. But I do sometime buy abroad and I don’t bring too many sets of jewelry. I wear one set the entire trip so o don’t leave expensive stuff in my room often.

Tippytoe that’s scary. I have the same experience. It’s the smaller things you don’t notice missing until later. For me it’s usually beauty products. You’re right about the safe. My Lady Dior was too big for the safe. I locked it in my suitcase and prayed. It’s sad we have to protect our stuff even in nice hotels. I almost always use the do not disturb sign. I even discretely leave quickly if housecleaning is in the hallway and dodge them seeing me. I avoid them seeing me dressed up. I always keep locks on my suitcases and try to avoid leaning them in storage if my departure is later. At my last hotel I waited until my room was ready vs. leaving my bags with them.

Usually I would choose pebbled leather over smooth leather because of durability. How is your experience so far with scratches and wear on the Lou Lou ? Hi! Just want to share that the leather doesn't scratch easily. I've had mine (small size) for almost a year now and it still looks new. I did scratch it twice with my nails but I just buffed it and it was gone. You don't have to baby it but just be a little cautious esp around walls. But tossing it around and banging it around people will not hurt it. Hope this helps.

I have the Toy Loulou in red and a Black rectangle caviar Chanel mini. I love them both. I ordered the ToyLL on their website and my Chanel mini I was on a wait list for I think 2 months. (I’ve been on the search for it for 2 years prior. But I wanted a new one since the preown cost almost the same as retail) The SA in the Bellagio hotel in Vegas called me to let me know it’s finally available and I paid over the phone and she shipped it to me.
