I absolutely love the work that you guys do!!!🙏🏻💕👍,& I can understand that riding an elephant can be cruel😠,...but how in the world can bathing or feeding an elephant be considered "cruel"!?🙄 Best wishes!🙏🏻

Hi Ian, thanks for your kind message ☺️ Unfortunately, attractions that allow interaction between tourists and elephants (such as bathing or feeding) use cruel, coercive methods to keep the animals under control. Elephants are not domesticated animals, so there's a risk of danger to both people and elephants when we get too close. Hi Shorba, thanks for your message! Currently the elephants are free to roam from 8am-5pm (apart from one hour between 12-1pm). At night time, they are chained for the safety of both the elephants and people. However, there are plans to create a night shelter at the venue where they would not be chained
