Change an Unknown Electronic Combo Lock Combination. Hard Reset Lagard 33e

Instructions on how to preform a hard reset on a electronic combo lock. I’ve also been informed that this will reset a locks dual control function, and delayed opening timer.

The holes are called through holes and electrically joins components and traces on both side of the board.

Thank you sir! You just saved me from removing this safe from the wall and discarding it. It wasn't worth calling a locksmith for us...as our wall safe was too small to invest any money into it.

This is genius.! Just did this and it worked on a 4200. The holes are tiny. Too small for a stapler even. So what I did is I used a piece of guitar high E string and hemostats. Honestly, I can’t believe this worked , thank you so much!

Another question.. are the cables between the keypad and the lock can be used to be connected with the reset box?

Thanks for sharing this... I'm gonna check out your other videos as well but wanted to know if you think that this will work on a NL lock? I've been shut out of my cannon for nearly 3 months. Cannon says it's a user issue and not a faulty part on their end. It's not an issue caused by the user, I've had this safe for 5-6 years and the only time I have changed the code was when I brought it home from Academy Sports. The issue that I am having is that since my safe is shut, how can I do this? Can I basically do the same process but on the keypad's motherboard?

Hi John. Thank's for your video. It was very helpfull in resetting my La Gard lock. It was anonher model lock, but with the same pcb as the one in your video. I also have another lock called EM3520. The pcb is very different. Is there a similar way to reset that lock?
