Robot, since I got my GTS 300 2016 I have watched your work. I really appreciate it. I don’t do much myself except changing oil. I do it every fall and spring when I change between summer tyres and winter tyres (with studs). I don’t use that thing to prevent the rear wheel to turn when losening the axle nut. I just use a strap around the lever for the rear break lever. If I press the lever and fixate it with a strap I can easily losen the 24 mm axel nut. Thank you from Sweden!

The rear fork, which supports 200 kg, is supported by only two M10 screws, and the 5 kg exhaust is supported by three such screws.!

Hey Robot… hope your well… wanted to ask I have a 2018 Vespa GTS ABS which I’ve owned from new and only done 3300 miles. 300 in last 16 months. I have a problem after riding for 15km in warm weather the brakes locks on and cause the bike to slow down and wheels get red hot! 😮 with wheels seized by brakes,any suggestions? Once cooled both wheels free on centre stand 😮

Hey Robot - I think I have air in my ABS system on my brand new 300 GTS super? I've strapped the brakes and it works ok for about a day. What are the special tools needed to fix my mushy brakes?

On one occasion when I was working full-time another mechanic challenge me to put on a cylinder head without using the torque wrench he did not think I could get it to the proper torque rating because I always use a torque wrench so I torque down the bolts and I was within two tenths of a foot pound on the torque on every Bolt

Hi mr robot, I have a modern primavera 150 that squeaks at hard acceleration from zero, and I recently just changed the cvt cover bearing. The noise was there before and after the bearing replacement. Do you have any idea where the squeak might originate from? Thankyou!

Robot... can I use 10w-40 in my 2018 300 gts? I’m in Phoenix. I use it in my pcx150 so why is the Vespa calling for the 5w? Thx buddy.

Use 5W-40 (JASO MA, MA2 - API SL - ACEA A3) as stated in the GTS user manual. They know why they are asking you to do so. Or, use whatever else, but mind the note "USING OILS OTHER THAN THOSE RECOMMENDED CAN SHORTEN THE LIFE OF THE ENGINE."
