Thanks for taking the time for the video. Gonna do this before my track session this month and this surely helped! I especially like the distilled water flush idea. I appreciate it.

Hey man, thank God for people like you, making this kind of videos for free. How about a tutorial for how to change the front brakes pads? I just bought my first bike ever R6 2003 its a whole different world out there, other bikers saying whats up to me, people asking what year is my bike etc. I love it! My wife didnt want me to get it but she wanted to see me happy so she finally let me lol. Hopefully she learns too and get a Ninja 250 like your wife. Hopefull you upload the brake video soon.

Good stuff. I was going to do this last weekend. Rode instead...I was also told by a local shop flushing with 50/50 vinegar/distilled water gets out a lot of gunk. The enging ice stuff was also recommended so I will give it a try. That's what I need next...a truck. Wait I need a garage too.

Thanks for showing me where the container is , I only had r1s and none f them had it on the lower left side , they were usually on the upper right side or behind the block for the 2005 r1

Good shit! Thank you! I just bought a 2003 r6 and still have the fluid from 03 in it! I also heard you should run 50/50 vinegar and distilled water to clean the system. Thanks again for the info. I think the hardest part is going to be removing the fairings again.

hey bro how do u know when its top off pouring coolant in the radiator? also when you fill the reservoir do u fill it to the full line? or in between the low and full line?
@KTE6788 жыл бұрын
Keep up the good work very interesting thanks
@brianburk25594 жыл бұрын
When your doing the actual flush. (( starting the bike up a few times and letting the water move through) do you put the radiator cap back on? I know you said to rebolt it each time I water flush it bit do you have to recap the radiator as well? Thanks for the video!
@luha6284 жыл бұрын
Yeah definitely put the rad cap on when you run it, as it heats up its pressurizes and you wouldn't want it to over flow out
@zarmar9788 жыл бұрын
I ran through the whole process ,but only filled my radiator tank once and now that I've ride the bike a few times the coolant in the reservoir tank in much lower is this normal?
@NielNunya8 жыл бұрын
new to self maintenance so don't take my word but I'd say it's just the system being filled that changed the levels but if it's drastic then watch for leaks as far as I know

@1970PMD10 жыл бұрын
I noticed you said that you waited until the temp got to 130 or 145 degrees or so, I'm wondering why didn't you wait until the temp reached 180 degrees so that the thermostat opens and allows the coolant to fully circulate through out? Just saying, but your video has helped many by the comments, thanks.
@adolfovazquez78287 жыл бұрын
1970PMD wats a regular temperature on a bike like this one ,,cuz i bought a yamaha r6 2006 and a would like to know wats a regular temperature on it
@samsepoil21116 жыл бұрын
Adolfo Vazquez regular temp for what? For riding it can be anywhere from 170-200, depending on when your rad fan kicks in
