I’ve flushed/refilled an F2 before and was wondering if you could do it on the f4i without taking the whole front cowl/air intake apart. Gonna buy a hose to get to the radiator cap opening. This video helped a lot, thanks!

+Ivan Olvera I would check your owners manual or even double check some honda forums, but I believe it is roughly 3 quarts. I used a little less then that honestly when I did the f4i but I'm sure you get my meaning.

great work man! i have a cbr 900 rr and to empty de reserve tank i have to put out the rear shock absorver, but ... why not a pumping bomb !!! great idea and i have one. That way i can pump the antifreeze :))

Take it off and dump it or siphon it out if you have to. I just take my tank off and dump it out.

For Mines it's behind the reserve tank on the bottom of the wall facing the exhaust.

How much distilled water should I get for one f4i ?

I would get 2-3 gallons so you can flush it out and fill it up a couple of times to really clean out the old fluid. this is an old vid I'm glad it still helps I need to make an updated one lol

Thanks. I did it yesterday. I got two gallons of distilled vinegar and two gallons of distilled water. Flushed it three times and still had almost a gallon left. Helped clean up some of the mess though. Did the oil change too.

it is actually a hand pump for fuel, you can get them from auto zone or advance auto parts store.

I have heard a lot of people say that you can use auto coolant in a motorcycle, as long as it doesn't contain phosphates, silicates, and is suitable for an aluminum radiator. The reason that this appeals to me is that in the US, auto coolant is 1/4 the price of motorcycle coolant. I don't want to spend $16 as opposed to $4 every time I change coolant. What do you think?
