Additional (de)mounting instructions: 0:15 To remove the door-grip, unscrew the Torx-screws. Put a random thin screwdriver behind the door-panel to unclick it all around. Also behind that rectangular thing around the door-opening handle, to unclick it off. All very easy. 0:17 No need to remove the glass lowering crank; the front panel can be turned 60 degrees upwards around it and away from the inner access to the lock. Easy. 0:20 To remove the clip: take it with a monkey wrench (pipe wrench. waterpomptang, water pump plier, alligator wrench) and slide it towards you - a bit above, a bit below until it comes off. Not too diificult, shine some light into the door, on the clip, to make the situation good visible for what has to be done. A metal strip can also be used as a lever to flip the clip off. 0:25 The 106 's Serie S1 (1991 tot 1995) do not have that spring (at least, not my 1995 one did). After removing the clip, the lock can just be pulled out from the outside - notice the difference between the left-door lock and the right-door lock; they are mirrored versions. The clip can be mounted again with a piece of wood and a hammer. Notice that the door-grip is not symmetrical at the backside and only can be mounted in one way. (right mouse click > translate)
