I highly recommend trying to do some of the smaller things yourself if you are at all inclined (no plumbing/electrical at first is my advice!) I’ve been doing this thing where I don’t eat 4 hours before bed and I’ve lost 12 pounds over the past 2 months!! It was actually so hard to do the first month because I’m a huge eater before bed person, or I was at least. Like it was so hard to sleep without feeling full. But now that I’m 2 months in I notice a huge increase in energy and decrease in bloating in the morning. I have days where I slip up and go back to eating 2hrs before bed and I can tell throughout the following day or two how much of a difference it makes. So I encourage anyone to try it, it’s both such a simple hack and such a hard habit to build lol but worth it!

Yeah, a couple of weeks off to decompress will help recharge your batteries. Good advice. I used to get a sunburn on my scalp all the time, too, especially at my hair part line. I suggest you wear a hat when you are going to be out in the sun! If you are worried about it blowing off, there are attachment devices where there’s a loop you attach to your baseball cap strap in the back and an alligator type clip at the other end to clip it to your shirt collar or bra strap.
@maxwells7892 жыл бұрын
Also, why didn’t you route the a/c hoses out the bottom of the window? You could pull the screen out of the window and set it aside first. And keep the blinds attached to the bracket instead of removing them. I’m not sure I understand why you set it up the way you did.
@LindaC6162 жыл бұрын
Pulling all 3 is a workout, Bea! I remember kayaking across a harbor in the Caribbean. After lunch/the beer garden, some people crapped out on the return, paddling against the current. One of the.poor guides had to haul the empty kayaks behind him. Another tip: floor fan. Put a bowl of ice cubes in front of it; fur babies will sit in front of it. Glad that you have reconnected with Ann. At some point maybe you could get some other mutual friends and try this: you could get a group of say, 4 women together, or 4 people, and go out to dinner together. Each person brings someone that they themselves are not interested in dating, but maybe someone else in the group might be. It's just a group of 8 people having dinner at 8. And whatever happens, happens

I'm sure someone else in all these climates said this, but in a broken A/C emergency, make ice towels for your pets. Take freezable ice packs and wrap them in a layer of towels, then put that towel under another towel and put the whole bundle on the coolest floor in your house. This is good for cats, Pug dogs and any other brachiocephalic breeds.

Oh gurrrl, NO! You're right. That online dating thing or App Dating thing -- maybe a few interactions, then meet for ONE coffee at Starbucks or somewhere else VERY public, then go from there. And make it clear this is a no-strings-attached and no-expectations meeting. Texting back and forth forever is a big NOPE.
