I had ppmd for 30 years before anyone really knew what it was. I absolutely feel for you. I didn't realize how much it affected my mood and brain /thinking in general until I was given a full hysterectomy including ovaries. All these women online posting about how having one ruined their lives ect... I had the opposite experience. I suddenly am able to just be ME, who I truly am without the mood swings and terrible dramatic anxiety.I feel like I am able to think before I speak and I'm able to experience that thing called "calm' everyone talks about 😂 if hormones are screwing with your moods to the point you feel like you struggle to think clearly, look forward to things, get excited about projects...hormone therapy to adjust them to where they SHOULD be, they really can help. Not just mentally but physically, it may really help you put on muscle and lose weight.

Try to think of sugar/carbs the same way you think of medicine. You don’t want it in your body.

Please keep sharing about your hormone journey. It’s so interesting to me! I also have PMDD and enjoy hearing about other peoples experiences. We love you, Bea! I’m glad you took a vacation and focused on being present vs vlogging. Balance is important. XOXO 💖💖💖

This is one of the best videos on the internet. So honest and how soo many of us feel. Love this. And thank you for making it because it makes those of us facing similar situations to you finally be able to relate to someone ❤

Hormones are the absolute worst! I actually found to have the opposite effect that you are experiencing wherein my birth control was amplifying my anxiety and depression. I got off birth control and have since felt tons better. Right before my period I usually get a day or two where, similar to you, I have more anxiety than usual and nothing else in my life has really changed. Learning this, along with tracking my cycle a lot closer than I used to, has helped me immensely in identifying patterns and learning my body and ways to cope with those days where the hormones really suck. Wishing you all the best in navigating this part of your life. You're a real inspiration to watch; I enjoy all your videos!

Here's someone else who discovered that hormones have much more influence than expected. My knowledge from what I have gathered so far on the Internet: Progesterone and estrogen have their effects throughout the body. Both play a role in various functions related to dopamine (motivation and execution) and serotonin (calm and happy). I have been able to help myself a lot with human medicine combined with TCM (traditional Chinese medicine). This knowledge also helps enormously in terms of nutrition. That's why I now know that the adrenal gland and liver/gallbladder need to be supported. I support this with herbal medicines and nutrition. I hope you find a good solution for yourself too. At the moment it seems that my estrogen and progesterone are too low when I feel sad or aggressive for no reason. I wish you all the best.

At your age and weight, your dating options will be extremely limited. The cackling, awkward laugh thing doesn’t help either. Many men will not be able to take you seriously. You give off a combination of platonic High school best friend mixed with grandma vibes.

I'm watching all your videos from oldest to newest and I think it was a few videos back that I commented saying you reminded me very much of someone with Aspergers, and I should know because I have it. So glad you got your ADHD diagnosis and understand yourself better now! That's how I felt too with my Aspergers dx.

I love that you separated “plus sized” and “fit/active” because they are definitely totally different things!! I have lost quite a bit of weight through diet and exercise over the past 2 years BUT my bmi is still in the overweight category. Which In my opinion is still plus sized if I’m just a few points from obese BMI. HOWEVER after consistently exercising I do consider myself a very active and fit person! It’s just super appreciated that you had plus sized and fit in different categories because they definitely are!!

I am a fellow ADHD, anxiety, PCOS (and endometriosis, hypothyroidism) early 30s girly. In my early 20s I decided I wanted to get off hormonal birth control and try to control things as naturally as possible. I succeed for the majority of my 20s with the help of a great functional medicine team, until life happened and I gained some weight and my symptoms worsened. The one thing that has regulated my PCOS more than anything else is Metformin. I know it's so, so difficult to weed through all the bad ones, but finding medical providers who actually support you can be so helpful!

B sorry for the tough love. It here it comes. I’ve watched you for the last two years I think or maybe more than that, you are so relatable, charming , funny, cute and smart that Iiking you was imposible not to do. I see a lot of myself in you! But you don’t even freaking progress in anything you have all the excuses in the book girl 🤦🏻♀️ first it was the work, you quit and then freaked the fuck out and started therapy and medication, always dealing with the weight thing. Got a boyfriend out of the blue but your happiness level hasn’t improved either even with the living boyfriend. 🤷🏻♀️ stop creating problems in your mind that don’t exist! Realize how cool your fucking life is and be fucking consistent with one thing for a prolonged period of time and see result! But enough of doing the bear minimum because of this or that… stop with the excuses already! I really like you I don’t try to be mean to you at all! If you were my best friend I would say the same exact thing to your face! You are such a cool person! Stop doubting yourself already stop been afraid of everything and fucking live and be happy already! You have everything you need to do it so just fucking do it!!! 😘😘😘

I had to do fertility treatment and I'm convinced that me staying on long term hormonal birth control (had an implant 3 times) term both damaged my fertility and contributed to my anxiety. Being a woman sucks in that sense, nobody wants to really deal with the complex system of our hormonal cycles, they just want to give you a pill that puts the burden of casual sex on women (all ethical and health concerns) 100% on women. I heard that myo inositol and metformin are good for women with PCOS that have issues with their cycle, but I'm sure you know more about it than I do.
@vanessahoey6857 күн бұрын
Both control depletes your body of certain nutrients like potassium and others which are important for your body to function well. I would look into which nutrients it depleted and try to rebuild those stores up. Hopefully they will help with your symptoms you’re experiencing. Also, I recently heard that PCOS is a metabolic disorder and so it’s important to treat that. They said that the treatment for metabolic disorders is taken differently in Europe and is much more successful in treating conditions related to it. That might also be something to look into.
