Thank you for the info. I'm writing to my MP and Premier about this issue, on behalf of my teenage daughter who (even though she was always a deadset tomboy) is actually a lesbian and not a "trans-man."

I used to consider myself same sex attracted and then I met my now fiancé and everything about what I thought I was attracted to got thrown out the window. I am absolutely attracted to my fiancé now and I couldn’t picture myself being with anyone else…. This world has become a bit sick- it’s making it harder for people to be themselves if it doesn’t allow people to change, because everyone changes. This nightmare of a Bill doesn’t allow people to be themselves. What a disgrace.

glad you thought so! and i'm glad QLD's version of this legislation is more limited, albeit imperfect still.

We need a law that defines Gender =Feminine Masculine Sex= Female and Male. That what these words mean. 2 separate words and two separate meanings.

"Would this bill make a parent who refuses to affirm their child's gender identity guilty of a form of emotional abuse?" Hopefully, yes.
