I have a 2014 ram 2500. I got a set of projectors from a 2018. This harness DID NOT FIT!!! I had to make some very heavy modifications to the headlight side connector, essentially destroying it. It did end up working but the plug was too shallow to fit into the headlight. Called several times to headlight revolution and no answer. Waited on hold for 30 minutes the other day. Also emailed and no response. I’ve watched several videos on their channel and wanted to support them for all the helpful tips. Really bummed that they didn’t even respond to me

Question. Is there ever gonna be a chance that someone will come out with a "plug and play" relay? Iv got a silver 2017 ram bighorn and i like the look of my reflector headlights with the LED headlight upgrade. I would love to use a LED switchback turn signal bulb in the front but i DO NOT want to cut into the factory wiring to add in a relay. Also any idea when the Supernova V4 9005 highbeams will be in? Iv had an order of those and a few other things now waiting to ship and now it says it wont be shipping till next month?

I ordered the harness. It works great. But there was an unused wire? Everything works fine. I'm assuming this might be DRL? Would there be away to use the DRL? I plan to pull out the led boards and replace them for the white amber switchbacks from diode dynamics.

That will work just fine, I will say though that they DRL will no longer be that turn signal bulb, it will now be the DRL strip that goes along the bottom of that housing!

Hi there. Is the pink end of the plug usually hard to engage. You seemed to have a hard time there.

These connectors are a pretty snug fit and may take some wiggling to get it to seat properly, you have to plug it in at a slight angle.

I’m having trouble plugging the adapter in into the headlight ... like it’s hard to insert them in .... I got one adapter connected to a headlight but the adapter won’t go in to the other headlight

Not sure what adapter you are talking about, or the headlights that you have, but if you are swapping to projector using our conversion harness, that will be the correct harness to go from the OEM reflector to the OEM projector headlight! You will need to make sure that you for sure have the OEM or the TYC brand headlights, otherwise this harness will not work properly. If you currently have the reflector headlights, but want the projector headlights, you won't be able to use the same bulbs as they take different bulb styles. Reflector headlights are brighter than projector headlights, but with the projector, you get a much cleaner beam pattern. Which is more important than brightness. Yes, that's what you would do with the reflector housing. This video is just talking about making it easier to replace the entire reflector housing with an aftermarket projector housing. These are OEM-Spec and should be used only for an OEM Swap. You'd want to email AlphaRex about this before ordering anything just to be safe!

This will not work with those headlights, they have their own harness for those housings. These are actual OEM headlight housings, so this is a harness specifically made to adapt the lower model trucks to the projector model housings. Sorry about that bad news, thanks for commenting!
