Do you ever use shiners? Big bass minnows.

I have used shiners when I can net them. Just started trying the bass minnows, but plan on using more often.

I tossed a bass minnow out on a modified Carolina rig, and caught that big cat. 👍. Totally unexpected lol

Hickory is not what it was 5 years ago. The average fish was 10 lb, and you caught teens' every outing with a few 20-plus a year its still a good fishing lake i hope they put a lower limit and bigger length on fish to help the size of fish again
