Tip dosconnect the battery first infront of the filter is a live bar when you put in a rachet if it touches the starter motor you will get a shock

Excellent tutorial!Considering that,in general,Renaults are kind of difficult in many repair tasks,this vid helps a lot!I would like to ask a question.It's a little offtopic but whatever.At 5:27 I see that the rims have become...brown in some spots.I bet these are the spots that are not covered by hubcaps.Is that rust or not?And how can be fixed?

Hi there. Today i changed the gearbox oil of my 2007 clio 1.6 petrol engine 82 kW. On youtube it was told that the capacity of the gearbox is around 2.8 Litres. The mechanic drain it all and refilled untill it spilled out a bit. 2.4 Litres he put in there. Is it enough?

Can anyone out there advise - I was checking the oil level and the and the bottom part of this awful plastic dipstick broke off in the vehicle. 1. Does anyone know if this could be remove easily? 2. If the end of the dipstick is not removed will it cause any problem with the flow of the oil???? Any comments appreciated. thanks

The oil filter should prevent any problem BUT it would be safer to unscrew the oil sump to remove the broken part :/

Hi Necessaryevil 86 ! Yes, you can turn the car on and let it run for 5 to 30 seconds. Then you refill with oil to the right amount. When the oil level is OK, you're free to go!
