I have eliminated the minimap and the meter count and I feel much better playing the game, especially I don't like to be told to go to a point and sed the metres left going down, it makes me feel like a robot on automatic mode. But now it also more special to navigate through the sections in a more surprising way.

Great video as always! Love to see it, I've never actually played a final fantasy so can't really give my opinion on any characters. However I've seen a lot of great things about this one so I'm thinking about picking it up.

And no worries, I'll still enter you anyway if you wish to be, how can you have an opinion without having played yet in all fairness :) I recommend you first play through FF7 Remake and THEN pick up rebirth, as rebirth is effectively a part 2. The PS5 remake of FF7 is available in PS Plus too if you have Extra or Premium and by the time you finish it, maybe Rebirth will have gone on sale too! :D Hope you enjoy playing it when you do!

As far as VII goes... and coming from the ps1 days... It's hard to have grown up and not been impacted by Aerith. She really is a lot of the heart in VII. Definitly value her more after shes gone... Just as ppl in our personal lives.

Auron is by far my favorite Final Fantasy Character. Samurai - check; BFS (Big, F*cking Sword) - check; Mentor - check; Kind-Hearted - check; Wise - check. Also Zoro's (One Piece) post time-skip looks & outfit is based on Auron's outfit, fun fact.

Yeah I can get peak brightness being a good one, but personally I do prefer the base look with how my display is set up 😊 Hope the others that I did show helped you though! :D

@heatwaveps5 Yes of course, make sure everything is calibrated properly to match your display. 😊👍 I do tend to avoid mentioning these settings in these videos though as it's obviously different for different setups so there's no easy "this is the best" to guide people on.

But using command shortcuts when issuing command is limited to only 4 actions of your ally.. so in tight situations, you need to use an item but haven't set it as shortcut then your only choice is to switch over to that character

Whilst it's correct you're limited to 4 options, you can still access the rest without having to switch, just by using the regular command menu and then hitting R2, so it does add 1 extra step for if you need to use an item, but I find most of the time I'm just navigating through the commands to use the ones I have as a shortcut anyway. This is one of the reasons I said it's personal preference for that setting :)

I'm not going to be able to unfortunately, sorry! I didn't receive the game early, and as my channel focuses on PlayStation, it made more sense for me to choose to do Rise of the Ronin instead, which I did also receive early so could get it up ahead of launch. (It is now out). Normally, I'd still try super hard to get a video on dragons dogma up over the weekend after getting it on launch day, but I'm away with family from tomorrow for a week, so have no way of being able to do this. So sorry! Enjoy the game anyways :)

Sorry to hear that! There is a performance mode though so you can play at 60 :)
