Hold Circle to sprint is like the Souls games. It's that 'hit triangle to parry' that seems really weird to me. I'm used to L1 to parry.

I have to change it in Souls games when it lets me as well as this, just can't get used to it. 😭 Definitely agree on the parry option. I get why because it's technically also an attack that happens to parry, but imo it would be better if it automatically did it when blocking at the correct window so L1 is used for both by default. Hope you found the other settings useful! 😊

It was kind of the same in wo long as well, o was deflect/parry in wo long. Although for some reason using triangle feels much worse to use lol. Wo long was more forgiving I guess with the deflect/parry, the window was very large. Rise of ronin it's a much smaller window to parry.

YOU ARE AMAZING!! Means a lot once again! To answer your question, yes, the bulk of these still apply. The Pro only impacts the graphics modes and whilst I haven't tried ronin specifically yet, it is getting the pro enhanced treatment so it should be able to run the better graphics modes at performance framerates I believe. 🤞😀

U can't do running slide or slide jump/attack/grapple with hold to sprint. I'd recommend using default

I do understand the expectation that people have when it comes to graphics for new gen consoles but in all honesty I don’t feel they’re bad…just my opinion I’ve been enjoying the game.

One thing I am struggling with is changing the buttons so it’s more similar to a souls layout. When I change the attack and counter attack to r1 and r2 i have to change a bunch of other stuff too

What about the setting to automatically disassemble and/or sell items? There is a rarity threshold that you can set. I put this on so as to avoid fiddling with menus rather than actually playing but I’m never sure if I am losing weapons that I might need. I’m fairly new to the game though.

That's in reference to settings 10 & 11 mainly, but a couple of the others also contribute to the overall visual bump, such as number 8. 😊 Sorry if you perhaps missed them when watching though! Putting all the settings on the thumb clutters it up too much to read so most are condensed into broader headings on the thumbnail. Hope that explains and hope the video helped! :)

Somehow locking the ps5 manually to 1440p helps significantly with the game's looks and maybe performance might be placebo with fps but visually does help a lot!! Playing on graphics mode with frame rate lock off. The game is great. Might not be top triple aaa but decent

I went with Unsharpened, so as the game goes on, i can get sharper. Also, while playing on the hardest difficulty. I blame Elden Ring for the need to play games on Hard

I have this weird rippled veil look goin on. Turned off all the visual stuff but it’s still there. Anyone else having this or do I need to update? Haven’t updated but it’s very noticeable especially when looking at the night sky. It’s just Smokey blurry white but rippled. Definitely not my tv was playing dragons dogma 2 with no visual issues earlier. It’s always there just more noticeable during certain scenarios.

I found out if you have the r1 button on (ps5) you can’t use the camera angle it has to be off which is terrible if I’m honest 👍🏻

I have but it's a genre I rarely touch tbh, and when I do, I always remap it to L3 when it lets me. It depends on the game though as sometimes it does feel fine to get used to, but as this is more an open world RPG and not a Souls game, it just doesn't feel right at all.

Hey sorry for the slow response. For now, I'm sticking to games that are just releasing as I worry the time spent making these for older games might not be worth it (they take like 20-30 hours to make, sometimes more). I'll be doing one for Ghost of Tsushima 2 whenever we get that though! :D
