I actually prefer a slower jog to sprinting so I keep auto sprint off. I think it adds to immersion for me.

4:57 Please note that Motion Sensor Function aka Gyro Aim is only accessible to PC and PS5 via Dualsense controller. Microsoft didn't add gyroscope sensors to the newest consoles.

Yes a good point, I should have mentioned this. :) I hope Microsoft add gyro, haptics etc to their controller at some point, but just kinda seems like they've stopped trying :(

Hey there! I liked your video - it really helped me. I'm a huge Star Wars fan so I was absolutely hyped for playing this game on my Xbox Series X, and I pre-ordered it like a month ago for my birthday. I just started playing it (I have been busy so I couldn't start it before even though I had it), and I configured it like you showed in this video, except for the film grain and the chromatic aberration. I'm such a big fan of sci-fi movies, so I like that blurry but also crispy sensation these settings bring to the visuals. Greetings from Málaga, Spain!

Great video, keep them coming. I am having a blast playing the game on PS5, yes, it has its quirks and can be frustrating at times, but overall, it's a really good game. One annoyance I have, is that I can't seem to find how to turn off the auto walk feature. I can turn on and off the auto sprint, which is great, but not the auto walk feature. Is there a way to do this on PS5? Cheers!!!

I’ve found the controls to the speeder quite annoying. Specifically the issue is that to go is r2 and dodge right is r1, so I have to use my middle fingers for l2/r2 (which is really uncomfortable). I’ve only just got the speeder, gonna see if I can change controller mapping tomorrow

So do you recommend enabling motion blur? Since I always disable it in all games as it makes them less sharp and out of focus I play in 120 Hz mode, do I set this option to 5 in the 3 options?

If you are on console, playing in 120HZ using the Quality 40fps mode, then set them to 3. The issue with turning it off fully in Outlaws on console is they use FSR for upscaling, which results in a lot of weird visual artefacts that do get disguised with just a small amount of motion blur. Otherwise, I would normally fully turn it off and do in most other games. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

@MegaDj10000 Give it a try again now, it should work. 😊 When selecting countries, I was quite selective when choosing countries to focus on places that primarily speak English as the core of the site is English, though text content can be translated depending on your browser settings. Anyway, I've added a ton extra including Brazil to the mix. I hope you find it of value and continue to use it. 😊 I'll be adding a lot to it. 😄

On ps5 theres a locked depth of field blur on at all fucking timed completely destroying the visuals and resolution quality. It's like Ubisoft made a gorgeous game for you not to see because they smeared they're shit all over the screen.

Yep I noticed this too and couldn't believe there wasn't an option to turn it off. The way the DOF actually seems to work is wrong too, it seems to add blur to what you'd actually most likely be looking at in a lot of scenes, super strange for sure and I hope we get an option to change this. They seem to have just added loads of things like this to try and get a 'Star Wars' feeling by trying to replicate a camera, but that's not what we want as gamers 😅

Oh you forgot one for HDR turn it off Ubisoft didn't care to optimize it at all it looks bad just turn it off

@ryanjohn3636 Fair enough, good catch in that case! At the time of making, I'd been playing without HDR because my capture card doesn't support it well so was easier to just turn it off haha, and I've not turned it back on since either 😅 Good tip, game looks great without 😊

I unfortunately was refused an early access code and in the 2 days following release had other things going on, so without any prep time ahead of release, I just couldn't get one made until like now really which would be way too far after release for it to be worth it by the looks of general search traffic on the topic. I would have loved to, but being busy at release and then being refused the code for a couple days early access meant I couldn't. 😭

@subzero3626 Please re-read what I said. Due to the timing of the release clashing with other releases I wanted to cover AND personal life stuff, it was genuinely impossible to fit in the video making process at any point between the 20th and 23rd. These take about 30 hours, and that time was not there; for me to have been able to do this, I would have needed time in advance. Needing to have bought the game wasn't a problem, it was purely regarding timing clashing with too much other stuff.
