Another quality video Andy, I thankfully havent had any game breaking bugs but I only started at the weekend so I thankfully avoided the progression bugs. @@waz207 yeah, the controls come up on bottom left. As you pointed out they’re only there for just a few seconds. Even when you’re expecting them you don’t have enough time to read all of them. Hopefully they’ll patch it so it lasts on screen marginally longer or stays on screen until you begin accelerating (I’d go for latter, will assist newcomers more)

Tbf, I lost 10 hours to the day 1 bug, but have since finished the game on a new save with the updated version on PS5 and can confirm that at least one transmission chest in space, is bugged.

I can't get some orbits, once I go into hyper drive it just goes on for ever , I left in the hyper drive going down the tunnel for 30 min. Came back and it was still going.

Thanks, I had no idea that their was a bug in the game, and I have very limited tasks to do. I'm quite early in my game at the moment. I'll try some of the gambling tables as I have not done any of those yet. I've picked up some charms. I have done one with the Pike syndicate. I'm good with them. So far, I have one with the I have one to do with crimson dorn that one I know is not easy to do as that on the battle station in orbit I'm not sure to do that yet as you said I should have some pirate ones to do I have none .

"To best experience the Outer Rim, we rolled out a maintenance to make sure everyone is playing the latest version of the game. As one of the players affected who had access to an older version of the game, we are aware you might be encountering some issues after this recent patch. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused...Once you’ve confirmed you have the latest version, please start a new save to fully enjoy Star Wars Outlaws as our team intended. If you continue on a prior save you will unfortunately face issues and progression blockers." hope this helps you out!

The date of your save DOES matter, even if you updated to 1.02 and saved a new save for the same game AFTER the 1.02 patch, you still cannot complete the game. You HAVE to start a completely new game once 1.02 has been installed, it doesnt fix the issues you have BEFORE 1.02 was released. Cheers

Where exactly is the bug that prevents you from progressing? Ive done all missions on Toshara and side missions that my abilities so far allowed me to, and all missions on Tatooine including a bunch of side missions there - 40 hours spent. The only bugged side mission is on Tatooine where you eavesdrop on a convo and loot a crate behind the fathier racing table. Do I really have to start all over again? Baring in mind I do want the platinum trophy

I never get any intel in my journal about fixed races. All I get is finding a datapad, have to memorize it, then at a racing table a yellow message in the top right that says there's intel about the winners age or name or whatever.

I believe the update was staggered across a couple days from the 28th-30th mate, so it's really hard to say as it seems to have been different from numerous people I've spoken to who have ran into these issues. That said, I can confirm that you can 100% the game with no content blockers if you're on the 1.02 patch and have started a new game after this was applied to your system

The hate on this game is ridiculous. It reminds me of the brainless hate Days Gone received and that game is in my top 5 of all time fun games I've played. Similarly SWO seems to be getting hated on for the sake of just hating. Yes it's not GTA 5 or Red Dead Redemption 2. It was never meant to be. I'm really enjoying it so far as I explore my fourth planet Tatooine. There is so much fun stuff to do and thankfully I've encountered none of the reported bugs yet. Alot of yootoobers have let themselves down with their sheep like rush to hate this game so I appreciate your honest and helpful videos even more because of that, Andy. Keep up the great work mate.

great question mate, on the map, top left hand corner when you put your cursor over regions, it tells you how many "treasures" are left. Thats your key for 100% each area on each planet, cheers

This new world of group hate, before games are even released, unless its a game from very specific devs, is pretty exausted at this point, half the hate comes from those specifically against anything Disney, some from anti Ubisoft, than the voices just merge together into one loud "its not gonna be the exact game I want it to be, so must hate it, I cant rob and murder any citizen I want, in a Disney game, thats so outrageous, automatic hate from me" turns into puddle gate from Spider Man 2..Does the game have issues, sounds like it, luckily I havent had to deal with any bugs on the PS5 yet, so those that are, have real concerns that matter, but fun, entertaining, worth $70, thats all subjective, in my opinion it is, for me, but so was Cyberpunk 2077, Avengers, Suicide Squad kills the justice league, but Souls games arent, because at the end of the day, its all about what each gamer wants out of the game...Its a fun, fantasy action game, that lets me fly around in a space ship, visit worlds from Star Wars, see characters from that universe, get into blaster fights, find loot, exactly the type of single player game I just relax and play, relieves stress...In no way is this directed at those with real issues, real problems, real hesitation with the game..

Yeh mate, that said, I know a few people who haven't been able to finish the game on PC/Xbox (some people in the comments also confirming this), but everything should now be fine across all platforms for everyone after the last week of hotfixes, just make sure your game is up to date and you should be fine

I find datapads all the time with information about a fixed race but when I go to a racepost to place my bet I never get the "R1 Open Intel" option and I don't get intel in my journal. What gives?

not exactly sure why that's the case mate, could be a variety of reasons: not being on the same planet as the datapad intel, not being at the correct table, not seeing the specific race it's referring to etc. I would I could provide more clarity on why, but thats why I suggest poking your head in at each table when you're close by to check (I've done that several times with no tip offs, but I've also had that R1 intel appear on others randomly as well)

Wasn't referring to the update. Was referring to you saying about bugs and restrictions. I've been playing 3 days before release and have had no bugs or restrictions. Ubisoft has to stop covering up for massive devs.........they are good but they always have some form of issue. Look at the division 2. The dev team running that game is a replacement for the original dev team (the ones who actually worked on outlaws). Since the D2 team left for star wars. The division has been in shambles. Every update something breaks. One time they deleted code from the base game and had to build it up again. The devs who did star wars never had that happen. This isn't something Ubisoft should be holding the bag on it should be massive

Would love to get these tricks and tips, but the game is TRASH. First day it was crashing my computer at start. Now, it just crashes on its own and exits once one presses start game button after selecting new game. the bigest misstake was buying the game and the second one was promoteing it. this has to be the worst game ubisoft have made, JS is now DRM free so get that instead, they understand star wars, whoever made SWO clearly do not.

100% reward? Not possible at least on PC right now. There is a bug after you visited Jimiji first time and left orbit. Next time you try to go to Jimiji orbit the game will be stuck in infinite loading screen bug. Sure you can difectly fast travel to planet but not into orbit. I think playing again from the start would be ok after months of game breaking bug fixes have been sorted out.

For the races, just save game before then pick a horse and watch the race. Then if you’re wrong, reload save and pick the one that won. It’s same one every time, it doesn’t randomise.

seems to have arrived on different days for different people, I got mine on the 28th whereas others seem to have recieved the updated version on the 29th/30th or even the 27th like yourself. Either way, if you're on the new 1.02 hotfix version you should be fine to 100% with no content blockers
