Cool video Ali! Do you have a reminder system for doing some of the prompts e.g. every 3 months/every year depending on how often you need to write the prompt?

1. What would I do if money were no object?/ What would I do to serve the world with my skills if I had all the money in the world 2. What do I want the people I serve/my colleagues, family and friends to say at my funeral? Am I living in alignment with that? 3. If I were to repeat the things I have done this week for the next 10 years where would I end up? 4. What have done in the last two weeks that has energized me and that was drained me? How do I make my life more energizing? 5. The wheel of life check in. With a tenth category called joy. 6. Odyssey plan. What would my life look 5 years from now if I took a completely different path? What would my life look like 5 years from now if I would not care about money and what people thought? 7. What is the goal and what is the bottleneck? 8. Do you work for your business or does your business work for you? 9. If I knew I was gonna die 2 years from now what would I do with my time? What of those things can I just do now? .. So excited to try them!

0:28 - What would you do if money were no object? If I had all the time and money in the world, how would I use my talents and service to serve other people? 2:58 - What would you like people to say at your funeral? To what extent am I actually living in alignment with that? 7:23 - If I were to repeat this week's actions for 10 years, where does it lead, and is that where I want to be? 9:40 - What have I done in the last 2 weeks that was energizing? And what did I do that was draining? 11:00 - How is your wheel of life doing? Work (mission, money, growth), Health (body, mind, soul), Relationships (friends, family, romance), Joy. How aligned are my current actions in each category aligned with my goals? 12:45 - What is your Odyssey plan? 3 questions: Your Current Path (Write out, in detail, what your life would look like 5 years from now if I you continued on your current path), The Alternative Path (same thing, different path), The Radical Path (same thing but if money, social obligations, and what people think were completely irrelevant) 15:00 - What is the goal? What is the bottle neck? 16:35 - Which goal would have the biggest positive impact? 18:35 - Do you work for your business? Or does your business work for you? 20:15 - If you knew you were going to die 2 years from now, how would you spend your time?

Ali, god bless you man. I think this is exactly what I needed to watch and hear right now. I’ve been doing lots of great things in the context of my life in the last 8 months but struggled with motivation in lots of areas recently. I listened to this running and instead of stopping after 10 mins like I had planned to, I went through the whole thing and realise I need journaling in my life to keep me continually asking myself important questions to focus on my life goals.

These are great prompts. Two years ago I asked myself if I could see myself doing what I was doing in 10 years. I had a herbal medicine practice that financially was doing well but was causing me incredible stress. Nope! Closed the business and took some time to figure out what I wanted to do. Focused on doing things that bring me joy and 2yrs later I have a clear vision that I’m really excited about. The 2yrs of figuring it out challenged me to slow down and just enjoy the ride. I’m grateful I did.

This video really got me thinking! I love the idea of asking what I’d do if money were no object. It helped me realize that happiness often comes from doing meaningful work instead of just chasing cash. The funeral question was a real eye-opener too; it made me want to be more present and connect better with loved ones. The energy audit is something I can’t wait to try! At your funeral I would say that this video today had a significant impact on my life. The way I've been journaling on and off all my adult life has not served me well at all. And now I know why, prompts! In the past, I just wrote stream of conscious, no structure; and that is why I was never consistent. This is going to make a big difference for me, in the way I think about journaling and they way I write from now on. The other thing I would probably mention, is the first video of yours I watched was the typing/10 FastFingers 3 or so years ago. I was an average typist, and practicing with 10FastFingers has raised my speed and confidence a great deal. I still jump on the program and practice. And, it opened me too a boat load of typing sites I didn't know existed. So thanks!!!

But when I started watching your videos and how you view, experience, and use journalling.. it made me more consistent and motivated to write everyday. WOW! absolutelly mind blowing prompts that make my reflect about my actual path. Thanks for sharing this content, is really really useful and valuable for me. Another prompt that I like to use in my journaling process is 'What I'm thankful for?' Sometime we focus our attention in what we don't like or things that we want, but we forget to enjoy, to thank and celebrate what we have and our little wins everyday.

Well timed video and I like that the prompts Ali suggests aren't generic; very thought-provoking and the applications he talks about outside of journaling itself are great too. One journaling prompt I'd like to add is... no prompt. AKA "Morning Pages". Just setting aside time in the morning before the chaos to brain dump free-form, longhand style thoughts onto paper (physically writing is a must, slows you down). I'm a fan of this because there's no requirement for structure and that in itself is stress-relieving for me, but I do like to mix it up with prompts every now and then.

At 13:12 - this radical path was powerful. Unlike other prompts (e.g., what if money were no object), this one takes money completely out of the equation. And while some of the things I see myself doing on this "radical" path are similar to the "money is no object" path, it allowed to focus on the experiences rather than the money (i.e., the means) to get it. Good stuff. Thank you.

I've always wondered what I would do with $1M and 6 months to live. My answers centered around how I would spend the money on experiences or bucket list items. But after watching this video, that answer feels really selfish. It’s “How would I stuff myself at life’s buffet before I literally lie down on the couch to die.” I love what you said, "And a big part of what makes life feel meaningful is when we are doing things that we are good at, when we're using our strengths and when we are doing something to serve other people." The question isn't how I would gorge myself on experiences if I had $1M and six months to live. It's how many lives can I touch. How can I take what I've learned and share that with as many people as possible? Thank you for what you do, Ali!

Hey Ali, thank you for the epic video(s) 🥰 My favourite prompt is the 12 Month Celebration from one of your other journalling videos - it was something I had been trying to do, without realising I was doing it. Giving it a name - or face, in a way - seems so subtle, but that tiny change in perspective makes the whole effort of planning, setting goals and visualising what it is that I am trying to create or achieve that bit more intentional that I had some - very - welcome breakthroughs. The other prompt I had been using, but forgotten about was Brain Tracey's method - even the reminder provided so much clarity. Thank you & Keep doing what you're doing! I really appreciate it! 🥳

Gorgeous video ❤Ali Thank you for continuing to create useful and inspiring content. I also journal (almost) daily before I go to bed. The only two questions I ask are: "what am I thankful for today"...oftentimes it's little things like how that beautiful baby smiled at me on the subway, my slippers, my sauna, or how kind the the lady was at the grocery store... The second question is "what would make tomorrow an awesome day" . All the things I list are things that I have complete control over like: do my morning devotional/meditation, my workout, 4 hrs. of deep work, etc. Thanks again Ali 👏👏👏

Great video! One of my personal favourite prompts is from Struthless, he has this one for when life hits the fan: how is this the best thing that could have happened to me? It seems really counterintuitive, like it should never work, yet you know what, it always does! Well, for me it does, and that reframing of an initially entirely negative situation has gotten me through a whole lot this past few years!

Hi I AM 42 years old man, I don’t drink alcohol, never smoked, no drugs etc. I have very eat life without stress and I would describe myself as a friendly and positive person- but 😂 I discovered just after 30 that I have very often headaches and them I have to go to the toilet few times- i stated to make a note with food I previously had- I have food intolerance after eating - celery , red and white cabbage, buckwheat, millet, barley, seafood, almonds, pistachios, cranberry, dry and fresh plums, raisins, oats, beef , turkey, duck, lamb and wild meats ( except chicken and pork) !! Also alkohol is not good for me , the same like wine ( especially red) I don't like beer, so I don't drink alcohol at all. I love white and green tea. I had meningitis when I was a child - if that helps. I have allergie or strong response from my body ( especially my eyes ) after taking acetylsalicylic acid. I have never had a stomach ache after eating anything in my life!!! I always have a headache first - it usually lasts up to 20 hours after eating and then I have to go to the toilet several times (I have slight diarrhea). I am 182 cm tall and I weigh 72 kg. I have an athletic figure, I don't have any diseases, I had hernia surgery when I was a child and once again at the age of 30, this time on both sides of my groin. I had few appointments with doctors and dietetics unfortunately, none of them was able to help me. I started to have strange symptoms : I had a very long-lasting cough for almost 3 months and now I feel like I have something in my throat and I have to cough quite often - I have such a hoarseness. I started to cure myself using / taking : Candex SIBO 45 Capsules ( contains : calcium, Grapefruit speed, Berberine oregano extract, Reishi) 2. L-Glutamine 500mg 90 Capsules 3. Glutamine power 4. Creatine monohydrate 5. Collagen peptides 6. Zinc Magnesium and B6 7. Vitamin B complex 8. Vit D3 9. AAKG. 10. Probiotics: 60 Billion CFU Pro Bio Cultures Complex - 60 Capsules (Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium bifidum, and Saccharomyces boulardii) Mastic gum Betaine HCl Sometimes I feel very well but them all symptoms returned to me again. I was thinking to start keto diet for a few weeks to see if that's will help me. Eliminate flours, sugars and dairy. Have you ever encountered a similar case or know how I can help myself?

Ali, I don't need to be on your funeral to say those positive things about you. You wouldn't have heard them that time, so just read it now: we do really appreciate your work.

Hi Ali, One thing I do notice about you is your humility, it inspires a lot of trust. Personally I struggle with this and I would love to know what tips you have for not letting things go to your head?

All the journaling prompt are so important, I had to watch it twice. Thank you for sharing. The last one made me jump out. “If I knew I was going to die 2years from now what will I do with my life” This will help me prioritize some things more than I do currently

The one prompt that keeps me journaling is "What have I learned today, and what questions do i still have?". It's something that I can answer everyday and lets me reflect on things that happened during the day and be more mindful about events and problems.

Every other influencer “don’t waste your life away playing video games” Ali “what would I do knowing that I’ll be dead two years from now? Easy - I would play more video games” 😂 love it. Because that’s the kind of authenticity missing on so many platforms 😂🎉

Well, all the prompts resonated with me… Actually I realized that a lot of the conclusions that I came to in the past few weeks are the result of your content! I do keep a journal since January first… I used to write a lot but I paused for over a year… don’t ask my why… and a have been reflecting on my life but not with prompts but based on events of the day, how I felt, why, conclusions, thoughts, what if this or that was different. Thank you for your time
