Why does your Amazon link say it doesn’t fit a 2010 Honda fury?
@Thevalleygarage Жыл бұрын
Amazon has the wrong information. Thoses are the correct upgrade one listed in the shop/maintenance manual.. Same ones I put in my bike 👍

Hi , I always enjoy your show and so helpful. Do you have any suggestions or video on back disc break cable leak? Is it normal with a cable that is 13 years old from a 2010 Honda Fury to start leaking, or is their a simple fix so as to not replace rubber line? Do you have any video to help please?
@Thevalleygarage Жыл бұрын
Not usually. I don’t have any videos but it could be a couple of things. Can you tell where its leaking from? It could be a break in the line or the banjo bolt. The bolt crush washer could cracked or loose?? Double check it could be something silly.

Honda recommends replacing the plugs every other year. If goin to Iridium maybe I'll go every 5 years? Also iridium pre gapped. I don't recommend using a gap tool because they will break if trying to gap the plug.
@Thevalleygarage Жыл бұрын
There never really an issue going more than 5 years there relatively cheap to replace, they are pre-gapped but it’s a good idea to double check when they are new.. that’s just my take 👍

Hi Can you please make a video showing how to fix a striped oil pan drain. Where the drain blot goes into. I stripped mine and used teflon type to plug it back up. Please help. Thank you.

Will you be doing a valve adjustment any time soon

That would be some great content for sure!! Possible at end of riding season this year here in Connecticut. Over the snowy days I’ll crack open the top and check with the feeler gauges.

@Thevalleygarage sounds good. I bought a used 2013 Fury. I have a feeling it was taken care of, I have it now and it will be taken care of. It has 9000 Mike's on it but not for long, I live in central Florida. I used your video to change out the coolant, next going to change the plugs. Keep the videos coming. Thank you

What happens if the spark plug wire comes off the boot? I pushed it back on and kept moving. It doesn't sound or feel any different just asking if that happened to u?
@Thevalleygarage Жыл бұрын
They are made to come apart.. Your ok and it’s happened to me pulling a boot… inside the boot is a pointy metal burr that will grip the wire when pushed in… as long as your running smooth like before you’ve got a good connection… you’ll notice off the bat if ur not running right 🤘😎

Any update as to how these plugs did for you?
@Thevalleygarage7 ай бұрын
Yeah man! So they run on the cooler side since which works for me I ride 80+ on the freeways!! I’d highly recommend if you run some higher speeds!!
@fedoramikettv7 ай бұрын
@Thevalleygarage yea I usually do. Lol did them last night and the damn boot separated from the wire. It had a screw looking dealio inside so I ended up jist twisting it back on and it worked fine. A lot less decel popping now and my plugs looked horrible to say the least

Just watched your video and I see that Amazon has the NGK DCPR6EIX (8196), isn't that the correct plug for my 2011 Fury and my 2010 Stateline?
@Thevalleygarage Жыл бұрын
Yessir Great question!!! You are correct the Standard Plug size is DCPR6E and the Iridium EIX but in the Honda Service Shop Manual they list an alternative plug for extended High Speed Riding which is the DCPR7E so to get the most bang for your dollar I went the the 7 but in Iridium
@macxpert3588 Жыл бұрын
@@Thevalleygarage The higher the number the colder the plug so the DCPR6 is hotter than the DCPR7. You won't get a performance boost by changing to a colder plug. Colder plugs help the head (and engine) run cooler on long and high speed runs. Most people who have a mix of country roads and city traffic will be well served by using the standard heat range as specified by Honda. FWIW switching to Iridium plugs in my Fury made no difference.

How to make my Honda fury faster It's stock I can out run Sporters 883 ,1200, Electric glide 88cc ( 5 and 6 speeds ) A street glide gave me a run for my money But he was loaded with screaming eagle after markets items
@Thevalleygarage2 жыл бұрын
Excellent!! So in short for more punch (this is what I did) I would upgrade the spark plugs, install a power commander fuel timer, upgrade the air filter, and change the exhaust and load a map. Normally the Fury Taps out at 100kph due to the rpm governor. But power Commander has RevXtend which allows you to go up to 110mph and gives you 500 extra rpm’s per gear… in total you can get to 110mph much faster and have excellent torque off the line when racing people!!! You can get pricey and expensive but if you do it overtime it’s not bad and I videos on everything that I did to my fury as you can see!!!

So the fury doesn’t pop anymore??????
@Thevalleygarage2 жыл бұрын
It should not pop as much since more fuel is being burned up in the cylinders than in the pipes… Some popping can still happen with the pair valves unless deleted
