Changed my mind about PRS? 2000 PRS McCarty Showcase

Never been a fan of PRS guitars, but I got this PRS McCarty and I must admit that it's a great guitar.

There is a small chance that I sanded that body when I was a sander for PRS in 2000. The initials BDM would be written on the wood under one of the pickups.

The McCarty sounds good and the finish isn’t too out there. I am not a fan of sunburst finishes generally.I think i would like this one or one of the CE bolt on neck models. The pull switches for coil splitting is also a welcome feature.

silverchair, nice! I wanted to get a PRS, even went out today and tried dozens of core, CE and S2 models. Its tough to find a good core model. They look good, but are very bland playing. My favorite was the S2 Vela, but I have to try the DGT. Great review!

Interesting and honest video. I've tried out a few PRS guitars but have found they're not for me, despite the fact that their guitars are high quality. They're just not my thing. You never know what you'll find or how your tastes will change, though.
