future updates wishes: -torque converter simulation in gearbox - weight limit for each type of axle (4x2, 6x2, 6x4, etc.) -an alarm clock so that we can control how long the character will sleep -be able to turn the fog light on -a camera on the right side of the truck (or left, in england) that appears on the gps screen when we turn the right signal on to turn right (mandatory equipment for trucks in several places in europe) -adaptive cruise control (on trucks that have it in real life) -twilight sensor to switch the headlights on automatically (on trucks that have it in real life) -rain sensor to switch the wipers on automatically (on trucks that have it in real life) -option to enable the steering wheel of the truck to turn more, instead of just 900 °, since the steering wheel of a real truck usually turns more -sequential shift lever movement -small trucks -rigid chassis

The motor sound of DAF XF E6 seems to stop when in freewheel. It's as if I switched off the contact. It seems very unrealistic to me. And could you propose realistic default settings in the sound menu ? I also don't like reverberation effect when driving under a bridge. Good job on the open/close windows effect !

@@angrysocialjusticewarrior You can try to run Promods if you want, but if something goes wrong and corrupts your savegame, you won't be given support. If you don't want to risk your save, you can revert to 1.36, or just hope that there isn't much that needs to be done to make Promods compatable.

The truck manufacturers doesn't want to license if the trucks hit somebody? The immersion factor, for someone who could drive in real-life may auto assume there's no people crossing the road in real life if they happen to also drive in real life....and just run into a real human. That's more dangerous - muscle memory for some might make one to assume there's probably no people crossing crosswalks *because* euro truck sim inculcated and potentially hardwired that behavior.

@@hellknightf1 Exactly. In the end, mods have pedestrians crossing, but no hit box, so you drive through the person instead, but you're made aware that oh, sh*t you just messed up. For those who want to crash somebody, they'll just go right through. It's been my gripe that as a simulator, the real life aspect of safety can't be fully simulated because pedestrians aren't many along sidewalks / empty sidewalks (bad enough), and they don't cross the road at designated junctions. We're not even asking for pedestrian risk factors where they suddenly cross roads out of nowhere etc, and to hardwire muscle memory for a real-life driver playing this game that there may be no pedestrians no need check blind spots etc, it's straight up dangerous. For the pegi 3 to exist, we compromise potential safety for real-life drivers. Great.

Great update. Most excited for the sound engine update, as good sound adds a lot to the immersion. Wish someday it'll be possible to get out of the truck and walk around (not just in the garage). Kinda like in the game "On The Road" where you have to get out to couple trailers, to fuel or to sign freight papers.

Oh yes the FMOD. Sometimes I ask myself if SCS ever heard a truck in real life? We had great soundmods for engines which made the game really authentic. And now? By feeling every truck sounds the same and sounds like a vacuum cleaner. And for what this much effort? For an Echo-effect in tunnels? I enjoyed 1.36 a very long time. But with these and the coming 1.38 I´m going to have a break from ETS2 for quite a time because ETS2 lives from the modding community and every, especially in this short time, update needs efforts from the modder to run their mods. I wonder how long they will play the game with SCS.

horrible sounds, iveco sound dies when slowing down. you should explain those sound controls. Functionality of each. eExample, sound of the world, sound of the environment, sound of the cabinet, what does it mean? The more I change, the worse it gets. The sounds of the truck engines are confused. Scania, totally unreal. The former was better. There shouldn't be so much volume control over the sounds, it should be fixed. It's a lot of mess. The first sound controller, which regulates sound in general, should not exist. You increase the engine volume and the traffic volume disappears. The horns are bad, the base sound is too long. It's a lot of confusion. In the end, it is best to travel with closed glasses. I believe you will fix it. But thanks for the dedication to always improve the game.

If you see the videos from SCS they have very good sound recorders and it seems very professional how they record the sounds. That's why I really don't understand why the sounds in 1.37 are so horrible. If no sound mods were made by Kriechbaum, I would have stopped using Eurotruck. What dreadful sounds, unbelievable! Make the high beam switch button: down-roof-down+roof-off. After processing the semi-trailers, I stopped seeing the red and white marker lights in the rear of the semi-trailer in the mirrors. Recycling has not affected the dump-trailers and I can see the light of markers in the mirrors. Please fix the problem with the visibility of these markers. Success. I LOVE THIS GAME.
