How can you miss Tom ? He drove John up the wall with his DemoRats are the savior of the world attitude. I am age 81 and I listened to Tom & John for years at work, I hated Tom's condescending little laugh he would give John all the time. I often wondered how John could put up with sitting next to him for years. I personally would have taken my mike and hit him up side the head many times. Do you remember when John said " I just dropped my head set on the dest and walked outside in the middle of a show so he wouldn't tell Tom what he thought of him? I was personally happy when he left and Sheri came on permanent. ( Jake may have been kept because he is local, not across the U.S. and he worked with Dori for years. with a new baby to come any day, he is very lucky to not be out looking for another job. Do you remember YEARS ago during another down turn and Dori mentioned that everyone was asked to take a 10% pay cut for awhile ?

Remember Candy, Mike and Todd? That show didn't last long. It wasn't really that great in my opinion.

With a new baby due any hour, Jake is so lucky not to be out looking for another job. Maybe because he is local and not across the U.S. he was kept and maybe because he worked with Dori for years. He can do multiple jobs around KIRO. ? I also wondered why Dave Ross wasn't asked to retire - probably because he owns so much stock in the station, he could fire the owners.

I ŵant Shari back! The John and Shari show is what kept me tuned in. Ever since the passing of Dori, the programming continues to go down hill. Breaking up John and Shari was a big mistake. I'm done, time to find another station . Best of luck to those remaining. Vickie 5/13/24 2:24pm 3:35

Jake left Dori for Cali and then came back to ride John's coat tails and jumped at the opportunity to co host with John for probably a lot of less than Shari was being paid, stand up guy
