Changes for 2025 Toyota Highlander and Highlander Hybrid Announced!

I think a new redesign is much needed. Not liking the front-end design on the standard highlander. I like the look of the front-end a lot more so on the XSE model and the rims look a lot nicer. This is one of the big reasons I don't care to get a highlander right now. If they would make the XSE model into a hybrid I would be a lot more likely at maybe getting one. I really wish they would have finally announced a XSE hybrid model coming out which they really need because I like that look a lot better than the standard highlander.

They should release that if the camry has an XSE hybrid why not the highlander since the highlander is THE SUV version of a camry?!

The front end grill and grill trim of the standard highlander is a little boring. No wow factor. The XLE Nightshade edition is cool looking with blacked out grill and other blacked out features. Honda pilot has more rugged wow factor but no hybrid version.

Where are the Highlanders? I’m in Pa, and dealers have none and have no incoming ones either. Did they stop production? I know they stopped Grand Highlanders, but have no idea why Highlanders are so hard to locate.

Is the transmission different in new models compared to a couple of years ago? Also, do you know if the Highlander and Rav 4 are going to be updated for the backseat seatbelt safety to pass the IIHS testing?

In my opinion, they really need to figure out how to build the grand Highlander and the hybrid version.Before they worry about changing anything. , people waiting for over a year for a vehicle is ridiculous.
