Very helpful. I have zoisha which is capable of creating a bed more than 4 inches deep. While it’s great for weed control, the sprinklers are almost always blocked. Originally I tried adding risers underneath the existing 4” heads but then the body sticks out of the dirt and the mower breaks the very riser I added. I hesitated adding these because I thought I’d have to cut the PVC but your video made me realize I just need to add a flex pipe. As a cherry on top you showed the side port so even that will be easier. Few people think to post videos with simple solutions like this. Thanks for the extra effort!

Yes, with some lubricant, but it's very difficult. You could possibly try a torch style lighter for a cheaper solution.

All the tall ones are made that way. To account for the supply line being buried at a consistent depth.

where can you buy these PGP long heads? Can only find PGJ being sold?

We use a irrigation supply store specifically. Sometimes you're limited in what you can find at a big box retail store.

Did you plug the bottom inlet?

Yes, you remove the side plug and put it in the bottom inlet instead.
