You did a super job of videoing and explaining in a step by step manner. One couldn't ask for a better tutorial. I may have to do this on a ATV. This was so helpful. THX!

Yes, I agree with you on the starter clutch. I've now replaced it twice but, I will order from the manufacturer you've recommended. I've completely overhauled the gy6 150 cc engine on my son's go-kart. The starter clutch from Amazon doesn't do it justice. So, thanks again for the 411 on the starter clutch! Awesome video too!

Thanks excellent video. I hate when they drag instructional videos out with a bunch of commenting that isn't necessary. Also the camera angle was spot on and light. 5 thumbs up.

It seems these things are designed to fail if not running in an oil bath. How can a dry bearing turning 7,000 rpm (perhaps 25,000 rpm If rolling continuously on the starter gear) expect to last? The Chinese case is vented so any dirt is like sand blasting, crazy bad design imo.

Does the little chain behind the starter clutch go on the 1st sprocket at the top or the bigger sprocket behind the smaller one?
