Castes has influence among Muslims, Christians, Sikhs and other Indian origin people because most are converts from Hindus. Shiva ji was from Shudras and when he became ruler he wanted Brahmins to perform ceremony but they would not perform that ceremony because he was not from ruling caste ! Then he had to bribe some Brahmins for the ceremony. In another case when Ranjit Singh (also from Shudras) became ruler of Lahore in 1799 similar ceremony was performed by Brahmins without any fuss. This was due to the fact he was Sikh and the Sikh Gurus (all Kashatriyas) had condemned caste-system of Brahmins - And also Guru Gobind Singh had created Khalsa in 1699 at Anadpur. In this ceremony castes were abolished by him altogether ! But some how came up again during Ranjit Singh's rule in the Punjab.

@@chiragsolanki4614 because general cetagory have no right to live and have right to pay taxes having no govt jobs pay for electricity bill ever you are more poor the SC St people and have to arrange 1to 2 lakh yearly for your study and government pay fee of SC St students as money given by our taxes in Punjab. That's why we need to and want to change our caste.
