A number of comments have been made suggesting that the sub-titles were hard to read - a new version of the video correcting this problem can be seen here. kzbin.info/www/bejne/foWYoGWul7J5jdE

My parents met in Iroquois in 1958; they were both teachers at the high school. The only thing that I know about Iroquois is that it was "the best town by a dam site."

Brian - that's a great little insight. I'm glad that you were able to experience what I'm sure was a pleasant memory.

Thank you, I'm interested to learn more too. It's a bit of a trip, so visits will not be frequent.

Great footage of the work in progress. Particularly appreciated the rare aerial view of the empty chamber and sector gates in the closed position.

A little bit of snow makes a big difference to a scene. I did like you choice of music for this video.

I have to tell you that choosing the music is the hardest thing of all for me. I'm glad that it worked out on this occasion - thanks for your support

I have often thought it would be nice to fly my 120 gram inddor planes up there at the park at night but thought it was not permitted thanks to some of those apps identifying the airport as the obstacle. What is the process you use to be able to fly in these locations? Or advice to be able to do so. My application would be AUW 120grams, VLOS. Thank you.

Thanks for asking a very important question. Although the site lies within an area that sees aircraft movement in and out of Iroquois aerodrome, it is not subject to special restrictions. NAV CANADA do warn drone pilots about the aerodrome, but they don't require any special measures, especially in respect of drones weighing less than 250g such as your own. Fliers of DJI products may find that their drones are 'geofenced', but unlocking this with an undertaking to take appropriate precautions is quite easy. One important thing to bear in mind is that you should avoid distracting workers or interfering with the operation of the lock. The fact that you are concerned about safe and legal operation is great. Have you taken the Drone Pilot Association of Canada Safety Course ? It's free and very helpful for fliers of Mini-Drones like yourself. www.dronepilotassociationofcanada.com/courses/dpac-safety-course/

@@Aerosnapper I appreciate the time, thank you. I am a RC pilot for just about 40 years, fly 3d Electrics, 51 to 67 span and 3D 120cc gassers, both in Canada and the USA but always at a MAAC sanctioned club here in Canada and AMA sanctioned in the USA. I have my basic rpas for Canada and Trust for the USA, and the location we fly in in New York is close to the airport so I fly with an FAA approval each time out, 400' celing that I do have alarms set at 375, and log for proof. So being that I always fly at these locations and still have some very nice indoor airplanes that are well under the 250 I wonder about that park everytime I am there at night and it is so well lit up. I am not a member of DPAC but follow Dons RC related videos quite well, maybe I should join just to learn more. I guess I shall go look at TC and Nav Canada and get some updated documents paying special attention to the sub 250 locations restrictions. TY
