Hi I'm getting the leather interior an door cards for my mk4 astra sri 3 door out of a coupe what do I need to disconnect the airbag from under the seat that is my only worry

Does the Mk 3 drivers seat have electrics to the seat belt ?

If it has a drivers airbag then yes.

No issues mate... It clips in on the base fixings, just not on the front clips as the is none on astra h seats but base fixings hold it just fine

ginog_ media the front pre tensioners and connectors need changing over and rear seat brackets have to be changed also remove rear bump stops for rears to fully seat properly

Excellent video! I just bought a set of seats from an Astra H to be fitted in my Astra G. They are the half leather ones. Will start the job tomorrow. Just one doubt: when you disconnet the battery, do you just disconnect the negative or both negative and positive? Thank you.

According to Haynes you only have to disconnect the negative lead.

good day, i have an astra g 2001 hb and rear seats has 2 little seat bealt anchorage points just like other big ones. i have tried to fit child seat with isofix but i couldnt. can you help no one know what are they :/

Put TS astra in the title as well, that is the most common name for this body type and they are all the same.

Looks mint mate.. I put GSI recaro seats in my mk4 astra.. didn't know u could change the center belt I ended up snipping and glueing/taping it 🙄

I was thinking to fix the latch that hold seat in place, of the rear single right seat on my car. After this i giving up. Thanks for tutorial it's excellent.

@@seansautos152 It's the button on the upper side that release the back of the seat. Its not working any more, not locking in its place. So i have no space to remove the seat out of car to do this job.

Just make sure you disconnect the battery and leave a few minutes before disconnecting

When you changed your seats over did you have the airbag light on? As I've just changed mine and the airbag light is on.

My original astra seats didn't have airbags fitted so i didn't have this happen
