There are definitely times when it seems like there are more commercials than there really are. However, I figured out that there's 'about' 1/3 of the air time of shows, movies and even news broadcasts, that is commercial time. It varies though, it's rarely exactly 1/3 of the time. I'm one that can't just say what someones name could/should be on the spot. I have to get the thought on my own. What I've realized is when new parents name their babies, the babies grow into their name. It's like it's essentially engraved into their appearance. In the past I've occasionally considered what name I'd rather have because I didn't like my name. I still kinda don't, but for some years now I just don't really consider any other names for myself anymore.
