So how is it a few months later? Still happy with the shift performance? I was considering either this fluid or the 20012 GL4+ and couldn't get a straight answer on what GL4+ is, or whether this or the 2048/22090 have friction modifiers for manual transmission synchros. Some transmissions are very touchy about the oil or start out well with a new fill and deteriorate rapidly. Lots of guys swear by MT-90, but I've found almost nothing about Liqui-Moly.

Love it man! It fixed my grinding i was getting with the original fluid that came with my car. Been pushing my car too with letting the engine rev out so it gets nice and warm and no issues at all

Why does mine fill up from the fill hole and it hasn’t even finished 1 liter bottle?

I've noticed you are trying to see a difference when you havent even moved the car, when in a stand-still there is no oil on gears, as the wheels move, they "mix" they oil and it gets in every gear etc, so it should be quite normal to notice 0 difference right after you put the oil (general info for everyone). also if liqui-moly isnt available which other brand would you suggest?

That makes sense, regardless it took a while (30 miles) to see a difference, and i would try royal purple or mobile 1 gear oil

What hex size was it to take the drain plug out

Its great! i use other products by them including their moly gen engine oil on my TT
