I Corinthians 1:27. God will take the foolish things to confound the wise. God will use wat u lease expect to bring truth. You may say you don't like how Trump says things. But, his abrupt tone is not for you to be offended. His tone is for the evil n corrupt who been pushing ungodly rule out of our government. Trump is the Father in Heaven headache to evil men n women sitting in powerful position. Not for ur offended emotions. I can not pick my emotions over wat being done to families n children topic of the day.

One thing I do agree with Ms. Nelson - she’s a “Never Trumper.” Can you interview someone that’s on the other spectrum, and allow that person to give their thoughts, without interruption, as you did with Ms Nelson?

OH MY SOUL...I NEEDED THIS!!!! I REALLY MEAN IT!! Pastor, I'm so thankful for this platform that allows you to speak to issues that might not be appropriate from your pulpit. Like you, I was a Republican and caught holy hell for it! Being a member of the professional arts community was hostile territory. As an Independent, i haven't faired much better. Listening to you and Sophia Nelson on THIS podcast made me feel much less crazy. Whew! So thanks. Lastly, I MUST shout out this podcast! Bc I have listened to Sophia & Michael Steele, but of whom I appreciate, but I've become so jaded that i couldn't hear all that they were saying bc I'm constantly questioning agendas! Fortunately, (and i hope you see this), because it's YOU facilitating, i could trust what i was hearing. AND, THAT'S HUGE! That's what's made all of this exhausting. Voting principles has never been so daunting.

Former non-profit social worker who observed for decades as many colleagues of all races, who identified as lib. Dems., consciously made the poor dependent on system while helping them b/c doing so was profitable; it created middle-class jobs & increased fed. funding that propped up non-profit industry & entire cities.

Respectfully, the word "Christian " has a totally different meaning to "both sides." Did The Most High God name his Son, The Messiah, Christ, or was it man, an Emperor? My love and respect for My Father, who is my God, my idol makes it impossible for me to associate that name with His Son, my faith, and beliefs. I would like to know your thoughts about this. Peace.

Excellent interview and intelligent discussion with Ms. Nelson! Her comments from 24:00 - 26:50 sum it up perfectly. This country’s foundation was built on a practice of white male supremacy and has stubbornly continued that course (though there have been attempts to change direction at certain points). When a nation starts off valuing human beings based on gender, race, wealth; defining certain human beings as property, less than human, and that nation never fully repents of those actions, the result is the mass confusion that currently exists (not only regarding race, but identity, definition of what constitutes a human being, etc.). This country’s path is a prime example of the saying, “Error increases with distance.”

IF we are to consider ourselves not rooted into the mindset of the hostile-to Christ-centered values, shouldn't we hold the values of the Word (to lead a quiet and godly life) high as we vote? I one party is filled with flawed leaders and people like the other party yet one party is Jesus friendly and the other seems to fight Jesus ethics? ..or is not the different stark enough? Platform-Principles-Policy at this time need to be prioritized ABOVE the Lead-people because the environment of less Christian hostility allows for continued expansion of the Kingdom of God as believers pray the people leading to have their come to Jesus moment. When we uphold our culture above our biblically based ethics/morals that defy clear admonitions of the heart of God expressed via scripture. Would we have voted for Samson Nebuchadnezzar, Cyrus, or even adulterous-murderous David, a man after God's won Heart? The truth is Believers must wean off milk and be ready to digest more of the meat relative to being effective in this contemporary time. One party is openly defiant and the other is trying to embrace a biblical respectful that is related to the clergy-men founding fathers that came before the political founding fathers. God still evaluates us based on the darkness or purity of each one's heart that lives to honor Him first. Sons of God can NEVER sacrifice their first love for the commandments of Jesus, for the sake of throwing out scriptural clarity about gender sexuality aborting-children families and protecting against unrighteousness, and mis-identifying God (Ps 50:16-23) with unrighteousness just to get along. Abominations can affect an entire nation....that is way many of them of biblical days are gone: Leviticus 18:21-29 & 20:22-24 Mature Sons Agape everyone when they are sadden by rejection of things that God has said are His ways which may offend us (Luke 7:23) that don't value the Mind of Christ. We must mature beyond offense of things ungodly people like, that God has reason to reject. That includes even when voting for ungodly things (because we like the person/people or group) that our culture has agreed to conforming to, because doing so will allow us to live in the world making life so much easier...and because we conform God has to like what we like and that is 2 Thess. 2:10-12 problematic.
