No I adjusted them but I dis forget to show it. But if someone forgets to adjust them it's not a big deal as they should be self adjusting when you back up and apply the brake.

A couple notes. 1 you need to brake kleen inside of brake rotor parking brake hat. 2 really should be torqueing all brake bolts and lug nuts. Novice diy'ers should especially follow these rules. 3 parking brakes should be readjuste when all put together. 4 most important, after you have everything put together, you must pump ypur brake pedal at least 2 or 3 times as the calipers wete completely compressed and as such your first brake application WILL NOT stop ypur car. It also be adviseable to lubricate the park brake cable andassembly.

My pin on the caliper has frozen up on my front driver side wheel. I’m ordering another Caliper Bracket in hopes that it would shed some light on how to free the pin so I can continue replacing my brake pads on my 2015 Chrysler 300 limited v6

I always apply a little bit of high temp grease or anti seize to prevent them from seizing up

I have a Chrysler 300s with 67,000 km on it. Do you think I need to change the rotors at all or just the break pads? I’m not an expert on cars. The most I’ve done is change a tire that’s it, so please excuse my question if it comes across stupid … LOL. I need insight

The only stupid question is the question not asked. If the car has primarily been driven in the city I would say yes you are probably due for a brake job. But thats not something I can judge site unseen. I would recommend having it looked at. When I do pads I always due rotors as most rotors today are so thin they cant be turned on a lathe to be made good. If you dont change the rotors and just do the pads you will get premature wear on your new pads. I know money is tight for a lot of people these days and to that avail if need be you can just do the pads to get by. I hope that helps.

Leaning the tire/wheel against the car? Tisk, tisk! Also, when I did the front brakes on my old 2014 300, I could not believe how much torque it took to remove the caliper bracket bolts - they had a ton of thread locker on the bolts from the factory. I had to use a breaker bar & 2' extension. Were yours tough like this? Man, about wrecked my shoulders!
