I've got a mid 90s Cub Cadet hydrostatic, Kohler powered riding lawn mower. The tires on this thing are very likely the original tires and they've seen better days. They're weathered and rotten. Finally one of the front tires separated and started shredding. I guess it's finally time to change them. I should have just done this a couple years ago when I put tubes in the tires. However, I'm just too cheap to spend all that money on a new set of tires for a lawn mower...
Come along with me as I learn how to change tires on my old lawn tractor. It's actually pretty easy. If I can figure out how to do it, you can do it too. Or, if you're not cheap like me, there's plenty of places near you that would do this for a couple bucks a piece....but what fun would that be? Thanks for coming along for the ride as we give this old mower some new shoes and bring it back to life.
