Thats the thing about split rims is the worry of pinching the tubes you handled it well Bill 👍

Having them 5 miles away does make it easier, especially when I need an odd part that only fits old go karts. Wait till you see it all bright blue. It looks nothing like what I started with.

My old Grav4ly's were split rims. NO trouble changing. I always greased the beads so the 2nd time was even easier than the 1st. Stay as cool as you can and a magnet is a life saver. And a bigger magnet will pick up the bigger stuff.

These were on for over 40 years, and with a little luck, the next tires will get used up faster. I do have stronger magnets, but the little one fits in places they don't, so it's my favorite 👍

10/4 on the little one. I have a telescoping one that I use to start nuts on bolts in goofy places. I, like yours, gets used the most.@@GuysPlayingWithTools

@@rogermcdonald1607 Yep back in the day before we got smart and just take tires to our local tire shop to have tubes put in for our customers. $10 labour we can not compete and no hassle just a short drive for pick up and delivery.

The last time I dealt with split rims was on the front tires on my 28 inch Hi vac snapper rear engine rider back in the day then the next time I dealt with those style of rims they didn't cooperate so I had to get new wheels and tires on The pull behind plug. Aerator I was working on

They were a bit sticky on these wheels too. I figure they had been attached for 40+ years so it could have been worse

How’s it going guys playing with tools did you get your mini split unit all installed in the shop yet also what’s the btus of the mini split unit and have you made a video on installing it
